"Wow this is beautiful" I told Dave as I looked around the restaurant he brought me to.
After a lot of thinking I decided to give him another chance.
"I'm glad you like it" He smiled at me
"I love it"
He brought me out to dinner to have some us time since the kids always tag along. I had gotten Marquise to babysit the kids so I could come out tonight
"I'm more glad that you finally decided to stop playing with a nigga and take up my offer" He said making me chuckle
"Well you've been playing your cards right so I said fuck it why not"
Soon the waiter came and took our order. I just ordered steak with mash potatoes and whatever else came with it.
"So you have an answer to my question?" He asked
A couple days ago he asked me to be his girl again. I honestly didn't know what to say so I told him to give me a few days.
"Yes I do and my answer is yes but this time Dave I'm done playing games. It's your last chance and that's that. I have an example to set for my kids and If I keep putting up with yo shit then I'm not giving Kairi the best example. You know yourself I'm done with games"
This time I was honestly done with his shit. If he fucked up then that was it. I can't keep putting up with no niggas shit. "If that's what I gotta do to keep you then fuck it no sex" He said sounding stressed.
"I'm glad baby" I blew him a kiss.
Our food arrived and we ate while having conversation and joking around.
Once we were done we got up and headed towards his car. He opened my door letting me in before getting in himself
We drove off.
I looked out the window seeing that we wasn't going the direction to my house or his.
"Where we going?" I asked turning my attention to him
"Somewhere just enjoy"
I sat back thinking on where this man could possibly be taking me especially at these hours of the night.
After what seem forever the car finally came to a stop and I seen we were at a lake.
The whole scenario looked beautiful. He got out the car coming to my side helping me out.
"What we doing here?"
"I just thought we should come here and continue our conversation. I'm not ready to let you go just yet"
I laughed and walked with him hang in hand until we reached the bridge. We took our shoes off sitting down at the edge of the bridge putting our feet in enjoying the quiet night
"There's something I always wanted to ask you but never really got the chance to" I said
"Ask away. I promise to answer truthfully"
"Why did you cheat all them times? Was it something I did wrong? Was I not pleasing you right or something?"
"Honestly Gotti it was nothing you did. I've always had pussy thrown at me that I loved the feeling of being able to bang any bitch I wanted. This whole relationship thing was foreign to me so I didn't know how to go about it. I realized that pussy will always be there regardless of time but a real ass female that's going to put up with yo shit isn't. I'm done with them hoes I'm all about you and my kids now"
I smiled at how serious and genuine he was being right now. This was a totally different Dave than when I first met him. Even a couple months ago.
The rest of the night we enjoyed each others company and talked about anything,
