2 Years Later
"Baby can you wake up the kids while I get dressed" Goddess yelled from the bathroom.
"Yeah I got you" I yelled back
I got up from my spot on the bed walking over to Kairi's room. My baby girl was now 7 and giving me hell.
I walked in going over to her bed shaking her a bit
"Kairi baby wake up"
"Daddy I'm tired" She whined
"Come on you got school so get up"
"But I don't wanna go"
"If you get up and get ready for me I'll take you to get a toy after school" I told her
"I'm up daddy I'm up" She squealed hopping out the bed
I laughed at how fast she got up from the bed.
I walked out letting her get ready. I made my way to Jay'von's room. My son was now 5 and as bad as ever. I already know he's going to be giving us hell when he gets older. He had my personality and we all know I'm far from being a saint. I pray he don't take the same routes in life I took. I want him to be a better man than I ever was or am
"Jay wake up boy" I said walking in
"5 more minutes" He said sleepily
"5 minutes my ass get up now and I'll take you the store to buy a toy later"
Just like that he hopped out of bed running to his bathroom. I swear my kids are about as spoiled as ever but I wouldn't have it no other way. I wanted them to have everything they want since I couldn't even have the shit I needed half the time growing up.
I walked out his room making my way to my youngest kid's room. King. King was 2 and as chill as ever. He definitely had Goddess's personality because she's chill as ever until you say some shit to piss her off.
I walked over to his small bed shaking him a bit.
"Baby wake up" But he didn't move
This boy was a heavy ass sleeper that's for sure. He can sleep through a damn hurricane
I picked him up changing him into his outfit for the day.
Once I finished putting his shoes on he finally woke up
"Daddy why you wake me up" He mugged me
"Because you going over grandma's house while mommy and daddy go to work"
"Okay" He smiled
I picked him up walking back to my room seeing Goddess finally dressed and ready to go
"Are you picking them up or me?" She asked taking him out of my arms and kissing his cheek
"I am. I'm taking them to the store"
"You stay spoiling them and then wonder why they're the way that they are" She laughed
"What can I do. They my babies"
"Well I'm leaving now get my kids to school safely" she kissed my lips then kissed King on the forehead before walking out.
I hurried up and changed into some sweats and threw on a white Tee so I can leave. I had a studio session today so I knew I wasn't gonna be back to the crib until after the kids got out of school.
"Y'all ready" I yelled making my way down the stairs
"We been ready daddy" Kairi said as I reached the last step.
"Ight let's go"
We got in the car and drove off.
Arriving at school I walked them to the door kissing them goodbye before making my way back to the car and heading towards my moms house to drop King off.
______ Studio
"So when you dropping this?" Slim asked as I walked out the booth
"Sometime next week. I need the fans to hype this shit up" I said walking over to the producer we had in here today
"We should hit up the club tonight" Jungle suggested
"Shit I ain't shit else to"Slim said eating some chips
"Shit I gotta ask Goddess if it's cool"
I sat down about to roll up. Studio sessions were always the best when I was high asf. It helped me feel the beats better.
"Wifey got that ass in check" Jungle said laughing along with Slim
"Man fuck y'all I just gotta make sure we don't got none planned tonight" I said
"Ight yall I'm out" jungle said getting up
"Aye give me a ride" Slim said getting up as well
"Nigga you got yo own car but never drive that bitch"
"Fuck I need to drive it for if I'm saving gas" He laughed
They walked out leaving me by my lonely until it was time for me to pick up my kids.
I got up going over to the computer to see how much progress I've made on my new tape I was working on
I was scrolling down on the computer when I heard the door open. I turned around and seen It was Sandy.
"What are you doing here?" I asked confused since she had the day off
