Dylan's POV

"dare". Dare? Dare? Why in the world would I pick dare. I'm an idiot. A cowardly idiot.

"Okay... ummm" Anna ponders over what to say. I can tell she's thinking of all the things she can make me do. Her brow is furrowed and her rose bud lips are in a thin line, with a hint of a smirk playing on her lips.

"I dare you to go chug the rest of the milk!" her sparkling eyes give away her giddiness and excitement of her well thought out dare. I can tell she's proud of herself. How cute.

Now let the fun begin.

*half hour later*

"Oh.. my... God...! That was so much fun! But so cold" Anna panted after dunking her head into an ice cold bucket of water, one of my amazing and totally safe dares.

"C'mon, lets go chill on the couch" I suggested after handing Anna a fluffy white towel.

I gotta say, this whole truth or dare thing, it really helped me get to know Anna more. Or Annie Bananie, the new nickname I had come up with her after she was telling me about why she hated bananas because of a 7th grade science project. Very traumatic, I know.

"Okay my turn, truth or dare Dylan?" she giggled

"Truth". Why not switch it up a bit.

"When was your first kiss?"

"8th grade with Lilly Young, very romantic", I joked.

"Hmm lucky girl", Anna said playfully as she winked. Wait, winked? I must be dreaming.

Anna seemed just as shocked at her small gesture as I was. I immediately saw her cheeks flush red, and she looked down to hide her embarrassment. I laughed lightly.

"Hey, it's okay", I lifted her chin up with my finger. Our eyes locked. It was like I could see into her soul, read her deepest thoughts, feel all her emotions at this very moment.

My breathing was becoming short, and my heart rate increased rapidly. I slowly leaned in, and so did she. At first our lips only grazed, then she pushed her plump lips into mine forcefully.

Right when our lips collided I felt s parks shoot through my whole body. Her soft, full lips fit perfectly into mine, and our lips moved perfectly together in sync. It was like magic. I could tell that she felt the same attraction that I had.

WAIT! No way the most beautiful and perfect girl in the world just winked at and KISSED me. She's honestly perfect. She loves music, she knows how to make me laugh, she's confident, and sexy might I add. But she's my best friends girl friend. And we kissed.

Anna's POV

I can't believe it. I just kissed him. Sure he's gorgeous and his sarcasm is adorable and hilarious, but I have Owen. Just because he's been a little weird lately doesn't mean I still don't love him.

"Uh... I... um. I'm sorry. I didn't mean- I mean- uh" I couldn't think of the words to say next. I was frozen, shocked. Just then, Owen came through the door.

"Hey guys! miss me?"

shit.
