Marcia Grace
Today was Sunday and I was heading back to my dorm. I haven't spoken to Dyson since the "you want to be known as the biggest slut on campus" thing.
We bumped into each other a few times this morning. Well for goodness sake, we dorm together. C'mon Marcia.
But I could tell something was off with him. I would catch him staring at me, and the time we accidentally did bump into each other walking into the bathroom it's almost as if he had an apologetic face on. Like he wanted to say something, but couldn't.
Or maybe he didn't want too.

"So what's up for tonight? Watching the game at my dorm with a bunch of hot freshman's or what?" Chad asked smirking like a teenage schoolboy as we made our way to the table to eat for lunch.
I shook my head and Henry laughed a bit. "Nah, man I have a date tonight."
I looked back up to Henry from my food, and then looked back at Chad who was looking at me trying to hold back a laugh. "With who? Ms. Rita?" He joked.
Ms. Rita was the schools librarian and let's just say she had a thing for us young fellas. Too bad she was older than all of our ages put together.
I chuckled at Chad's joke as for Henry who just rolled his eyes. "Ew no that's gross" Henry pleaded. I smirked and starting to dig into my food.
"Then who's the lucky lady, lad?" Chad asked as he filled his mouth with nachos.
"Marcia,.. you guys know Marcia right?" As soon as he said her name my nostrils flared and I felt myself get angry. "What?" I wanted to ask but I held back on that one and squeezed my knuckles. I guess Chad noticed this and looked at me with a questioning look on his face.
"Wow, that's cool I guess" I said. I wasn't happy. We haven't spoken since the incident. I couldn't blame her though. Why would she want to talk to me? We bumped into each other a few times and I held back from telling her I was sorry then proceeding to kissing her.
Woah what?
"Yeah, she seems pretty cool. And she's beautiful" Henry beamed as he interrupted my thoughts. Hearing him say that she was beautiful made me more angry. I just hung my head low and continued eating. Chad didn't utter a word.
A few minutes later someone's phone ranged and I looked up from my plate and saw Henry smiling like an idiot.
"Gotta go boys, my date is waiting for me" he said as he got up throwing money on the table for the tab.
"Have fun, bitch" Chad yelled as Henry walked away smiling like an ass. "Fun, I will be having" he yelled back.
I didn't say anything. I did not want too. Henry was my friend. I don't want Marcia to get in the way of our friendship. But he has to understand she's mine.
"Dude, you so like her" Chad said. I raised my eyebrow at his sudden outburst and stared at him in complete question.
"What- who are you talking about?" I had to ask.
He rolled his eyes, "That Marcia chick, the one you dorm with" he smirked.
I shook my head and glared at him. "No, that's Henry's girl"
"Oh please, I saw the way you got when he said he was going on a "date" with her" he suggested.
I shook my head once again firmly, "I don't know what you're talking about"
"Cut the bullshit Vanderhill, you got it bad for this chick and you're so in denial about it" he laughed.
I just glared at him and he leaned back into his chair. "What is in question is Melissa, aren't you still with her?"
"Who gives a fuck about Melissa?" Anger sparked within me. While he just smirked.
"Ah, so you do like her?"
"Who?"
"Marcia"
"No,"
"So you don't care that she is going on a date with Henry tonight?"
"She can do whatever she wants"
"Not the answer I was looking for. So you do care?" He asked raising his eyebrow up slightly.
"I said no."
"Do you find her attractive?"
"Yes, what is it with you and all of these questions? Are you trying to interview me right now?" I asked keeping my gaze elsewhere.
He shrugged his shoulders and looked at me. "I'm just trying to find out some answers man. Cause it seems to me that you've got it bad for this girl. But your holding back on allowing yourself to get closer to her because of what happened.."
I immediately knew what he was talking about. My mother. Ever since she had past away I've never allowed myself to get closer to anybody. My dad and I don't have the greatest relationship. I just can't myself opening up to someone. My mother was my rock, my world. The only woman to ever understand me completely. There was Melissa, but after everything that's going on in her life. I don't think we could ever go back to where we were. That's where Marcia comes into mind. Could she be the one to break the wall I have built since my mother passed away? I mean, how could it be her? She hates me.
