(Back in Elementary school)

"Hey mom, hey dad, I am home from school"

"Hey honey." Mom was once again busy doing something

"How was your day?" Dad sitting on the couch.

"Oh it was good. The teacher finally noticed me in class today."

They stopped what they were doing and looked at me.

"What? What do you mean she now noticed you when the school year is almost over?"

"Yeah! She saw that my name was at the bottom of the paper. She was confused when she saw it so she asked who it was I stood up and said that's me."

"And then what did she say honey?"

"She asked me if I was here this entire time and if I was actually the one with small handwriting. I told her that it was mine and I always wrote small on my paper just like you did."

"Then what did she say after that?" Dad was now focusing on me.

"Oh she told me that I need to do more stuff because she never knew that I was in her class the entire time."

"She did not know that you were in her class for almost the whole year? When you turned in your papers, what did she do?"

"She did not throw my papers away. She put them in the box that is named unknown.

That is funny though because my name is not unknown.

"I am so sorry sweetie."

"I don't understand why would you be, I had a great day today."

"Well why is that?"

"Oh because someone noticed me."

"So you're telling me that this entire year you have had no one to talk to?"

"Yep."

"You need to get some friends, honey."

"Why would I need that? I enjoy seeing everyone have fun."

"Thats is not fun at all."

"Mom, dad, I promise I am very happy the way things are,"

"Well could you at least try and make some."

"Yeah just at least one friend."

"If that will make you very happy then I will."

"The one thing that makes us proud is to call you our daughter, Akane."

My parents made me feel so special. I ran up to them and hugged them because they were mine and no one else can take them from me. They made me the happiest person on earth.

"I love you"

"I love you more" said mom as she started crying.

"No I love you guys the most" her dad came and picked both of them up and hugged us tightly.

"Please don't ever leave me"

"We will never leave your side."
