I woke up to a sudden chill on my body. I got up off the bed and turned on my light. It looked like someone was in here because my window was open and some of my stuff was moved around. But, just a little bit. It could have not been my Uncle because this room would look a lot worse.

I really didn't have time to worry about it so I started to get dressed. I had put on my school uniform. I took my money with me in case he would be as smart as to go looking through my room for it. I went downstairs to look at the time and it read 5:00. I was about to grab something off the table when I tripped over something, my Uncle. He was passed out on the floor. As much as I hated him, I took away the bottle of alcohol placed it on the table, grabbed a blanket and placed it on him. He was a better Uncle whenever he slept.

I had to do my morning chores laundry, dishes, sweep, and clean clean clean. My uncle would get mad at me if I did not clean up. But I did not mind it, it distracted me and that's all I really need. I just need everything that happened last night to go away.

When I was finished I saw that it was 6:45. Even though I had plenty of time before school started I went ahead and walked out the door.

Walking to school alone is nice. You get to listen to nature and not the sound of your uncle yelling at you. Funny because mom and dad used to say that I should never walk alone, yet here I am doing this everyday till summer starts again.

We were in the middle of August and I did not have a jacket to protect me from the cold. The only thing that would help me from freezing to death was running. I had three miles to go but it wasn't going to be hard. I actually liked running, it was the only thing that made me feel free, that got me away from all the bullying, and my Uncle.

When I came to school it was empty. I looked at the sky to see that the sun did not rise yet. I had nothing better to do so I found the curb and sat on it waiting for school to start. What I didn't expect do was fall asleep. When I woke up there were people surrounding me. I looked up to only see them laughing at me. Then there was no other than Macy and Hannah standing in front of me.

I had to find somewhere to go away from all these people. I went to the bathroom. There was nobody in here so I found a stall, opened it, and sat down. Then someone walked in.

"OMG, that was so funny. Ha, look I even got a pic of her sleeping" said a girl.

No not some girl, Macy Churchfield and her friend Hannah Baker.

"Tell me about it. That picture is literally going to get a lot of views. It's not like anyone likes her so we won't get called down for it" Macy was looking at herself in the mirror.

My life could not get any worse.

"She needs to get a life anyway. She does not have friends, doesn't have parents, she doesn't even talk to anyone, so who cares it's not like she is going to say something about it she is scared of everyone anyway" Hannah was laughing.

"Hey let's go. the bell is about to ring." Macy made sure her hair was "perfect" and then walked out.

When they walked out, I sobbed silently for a couple of minutes then walked out. Why does this always happen to me. I didn't realize how late I was to class because when I opened the door everyone was taking a test when they all looked at me and started snickering.

You have got to be kidding me.

I had first period with Macy and Maxon which was AP Calculus with Mr. Davis.

"What makes you decide you can skip half of class and then walk in" he said snickering.

"Yeah what makes you think you can do whatever you want."

I walked to the back of the class where my empty seat was.

"Oh I didn't know you had the attention span to actually realize that."
