Chapter 5

Aaron's P.O.V.

My first day of going to a human high school and if I'm being honest with myself, I really am excited. I mean what's better then friending my Alpha's mate in an attempt to make her like me more to make Cameron mad. I also am excited to play sports, I can basically cheat at them with my werewolf abilities which makes it even more fun. Not to mention there are going to be a lot more hot human teenage girls to flirt with.

"Aaron Carter," the woman at the front desk in the office said out loud.

"Right here," I said jumping out of the chair and walking over to her desk.

"Here is your schedule," she said in a monotone voice. "Bryce, a student here is going to give you a tour of the school."

Bryce looked like one of those nerds that did really good in school, but lacked in the looks department. I hate the fact that they couldn't have just let a pretty girl give me a tour.

"Can I have Alexandra Uptown give me a tour?" I asked.

"We have already taken the time to set Bryce up to give you a tour so no, be appreciative that I don't just make you find your way on your own!" The woman yell-whispered at me. This old woman is acting like she slept on the wrong side of the bed last night. I glanced over at the nerd and I could tell he was uncomfortable being here, and I honestly felt sorry for him.

"Look here you old woman!" I started,"you may not know me but I get what I want, and I want Alexandra to give me a tour not some stupid nerd!" I yell-whispered back to her. She looked very taken back by my tone, but then her expression turned to pure anger. I saw out of the corner of my eye the nerd slowly starting to inch his way to the closest exit. He was obviously trying not to get caught in this argument and I didn't blame him either.

"Aaron Carter I'm guessing." A man said. He looked like he was in his early fifties and wore a suit. The man had grey hair and was fairly tall, although he looked as if he took good care of his body because he appeared to be in great shape compared to some of the other old people here.

"That's me," I mumbled.

"Well please step into my office."

"Okay."I walked behind him as we stepped into his office. I jumped down in one of the chairs in front of his desk as he closed the door behind me.

"What's all this ruckus about now?"

"Well I have this friend at the school named Alexandra Uptown and she is in my grade and I kind of wanted her to give me a tour of the school because I'm a little shy to tell you the truth." I rambled on to the man, who I now know is the principal from a glance at his name plate on his desk.

"I wouldn't have guessed considering you just yelled at Ms. Hellen." He paused for a moment before saying,"Do you like this girl?" After he finished his statement his dull face turned into a smirk.

I decided to just go with it and faked a blush and mumbled,"maybe."

His smirk turned into a grin as he said,"you'll thank me later." As he said that he stepped outside and left me alone in his office. I let out a loud sigh and thought 'man that was close'.

The principal came back in after a couple of minutes and said,"all clear buddy. You go get your girl, I wish someone could've told me this so I wouldn't have been so shy and asked my best friend out. Then maybe I wouldn't have to be alone." He paused for a minute as if he was having a flashback of something from his past. "Just letting you know I'm not usually this nice." He gave me a school blueprints. "Alexandra should be in the back parking lot for seniors if I'm not mistaken," he said pointing to where the back parking lot was on the blueprints.

"Thank you," I said as I was in a rush to get out of the office. I ran all the way to the senior back parking lot and spotted a girl with long dark brown hair and I knew exactly who it was. I slowed down to a walking pace while thinking of how to approach her. A good first impression equals a good friendship so I had to be smooth.

Okay guys this is just a filler chapter to kinda show a little bit more of Aaron's personality so I hoped u guys liked it.
