I'm not sure about this day, If someone called you early in the morning to tell you that you'll be meeting his parents, I wanted to chop his ball off. I'm not prepared he should have told me earlier so I can prepare myself. I quickly pack my things. I'm gonna meet his family? How am I gonna act infront of them? Just how? Am I gonna talk or nah? Oh great, I'm doomed.

I hear the doorbell rang and I remain sitting on my bed, He can just climb to my window like what he always do to distract me. What if they don't like me for him? What if I can't impress them? What if they tell him to leave me because they don't want me for him?

"Ready?" He asked. "Congratulations, you already know how to use the door. I'm ready to lay on my grave." I say sarcastically, he laughed."Look, don't be like that. Smile, my wife will soon meet her future family in law. Don't be pressured, they will surely like you." He kissed my forehead for assurance. How I wish it will go well. "I'm not your wife Jack Frost. I'm not." He laughed again and he carry my bag.

As we reach the camp side, A kid that is around 8 or 9 years old, she's cute with her braided hair.. "Hello! I'm Joy, you're my brothers girlfriend?" She's cute. Jack and Joy has the same eyes. "She's not my girlfriend, she's my wife." Jack said and the little girl quickly run to their parents, So do we.

"Mom! Dad! Rain! She is Jack's wife." They all look at me from head to toe. I feel numb and shock when her older sister hug me. "We finally meet you, I'm Rain." she smiled at me, she also have the green eyes with her blonde her, she's tall and I envy her for that, I smiled back at her and she held my hand. "She's the young lady? Does Jack threat you so you will answer yes?" I laughed because of what his father have said. I nodded and it makes his frown. His father looks like him minus the green eyes, I already see him thirty years from now. "Just call us mom and dad dear" Her mom told me and hug me and I hugged her back. She looks like a strict women with her green eyes and dark hair. She's pretty, their family is gorgeous.

"Okay mom." I smiled at her, I suddenly miss my mother. My mom. "You're alright honey?" I nod at his mom and she smiled. "Nervous? Don't be, we will love any girl that he'll bring to meet us, and luckily after twenty-one years of his existence he already introduce one. Akiesha, right dear?" I nod. "You know, I already think that my son is gay, until he told us about you. I'm glad he found you." I smiled and she hug me again.

"Mom! Mom! Who is she?" A twin came out from a tent and run to Rain. "She's your aunt, uncle Jack's girlfriend" I think they're five years old? They're cute. "She's my wife" His older sister chuckled at his childishness.

"Meet aunt Akiesha, your uncle Jack's wife" The kids run to me and ask me to bend down. They both hug me tight, They're sweet. "Where's your ring aunt Akiesha? You and uncle Jack was married, right?" They say in unison and I take out my necklace. I have a ring in there, someone gave it to me when I was young. "That should be in your finger right?" They said again in unison that makes the three of us laughed.

"My name is Cassia." The little girl said while bowing like a princess. She have a blonde hair and blue eyes, she's cute with her small lips, she's cute. "I'm Nathan" The little boy said as he kissed my hand like a gentleman. Another blonde with blue eyes, no one inherit their mother's green eyes. "Auntie, tell us something about you." They say and drag me inside a tent, we form a circle and I can see the excitement in their eyes. Their innocent, very innocent.

"My name is Akiesha Winter and I have an elder sister named Zane." I start. "Just like Rain?" Joy asked and I nod. "Where is she? maybe she's as pretty as you." Nathan asked and I mess his hair. "She's already married and she have twins now." I said. "Just like us?" The twin said in unison and we all laughed. I really have fun discussing things with them.

"How about your mom? You haven't tell anything about her yet." Shoot, I'm sensitive when it comes to her. "She's dead, she died when I'm still young." I can see the sadness in their faces but that's better, I don't want them to be added on the long list of those people who pity me. "I'm sorry." They all said in unison and I smiled at them.

Its better to spend time with kids than with those people who's in the same age as you. They have nothing to do but to spread gossips and I hate it. I'm sick of then talking about my mothers death, how our life become miserable, how dumb is my sister for choosing a man over her future, how hard is it for me that I already have a mental illness that's why I only have few to trust.

I forgot. My bestfriend's engagement will be held five days from now, on her boyfriend's twenty-first birthday.

I look at the kids infront of me, they seem worried. "Let's play outside?" I asked and they all run, they're kids.

The whole night is great, its indeed wonderful. He came from a great family, a family that I aways dreamt of having, a family that I lost with myself. I can't help but to smile that they wholeheartedly accept me like I'm already part of the family.
