A Month with Him

Day 14

I spend a day and a night with his family and I treasure it, we'll going home today. Last night was one of my best nights, the bonfire, scary stories, funny moments and I'm able to know him more since they told me all his embarrasing moments and experiences. One thing is when he wore his sister's underwear when he was in nursery, I laughed really hard when I heard that.

We also walk to the mountain this morning and have played at the waterfalls together with the kids. I need to admit that I was wrong, his family will love any girl that he will bring home. They're so nice and I couldn't wish for more. I'm lucky.

He was raised with manners that explains why he's some kind of gentleman, he was raised with tender loving care that explain why he is a giant teddy bear. They're sweet especially the kids, I miss my childhood because of them.

"Auntie, come with us when grandma and grandpa is here again, promise me!" Little Cassia said while we're packing our things. I nod and does a pinky swear. "We'll gonna miss you." Little Nathan hug me and I hug the twins tight. Its time to go home, I don't want to leave yet but we needed to.

I took a last tour around the place, camping is really relaxing. I remember having one back in middle school, its a great experience except from one thing that I never wanted to think about and I wish I never knew.

I feel strong arms hug my waist. "We can go back here, whenever yoy wanted." we stay like that for a little while when his younger sister called us, we really have to leave now since his older sister and the twins need to go home.

We stopped at a convenience store to buy some snacks so we have something to eat while driving home, the sky is beautiful as well as the sea. The redish orange color that was perfectly reflecting on the water relaxes me.

"Its beautiful right?" It's his older sister. "Yes it is" his sister is nice too. Like what I told you their parents raise them great, they're all in good terms. They're a perfect family. "So how was it?" She stand beside me and smile at me, she have a beautiful and genuine smile. "Its great, I loved it." I answer looking back at the sky.

"You know, I can tell that my brother loves you. The way he looked at you, the way he shows affection, the way he smile whenever you're around. I haven't seen him like that since then, I'm glad that he found you." I smile at her, its not hard to get along with them very well. "Can I tell you something?" I ask and she nod. "For the last fourteen days, I made some things I haven't done before." I said sitting at the back of the car, she sit beside me.

"I learn a lot of things, I found myself different from who I am years ago." She caress my hair and braid it. She's like Zane, maybe sisters are really like this. He's lucky to have Rain and I'm grateful to have Zane. "You know, you just need to get out of your box. You don't have to be scared on trying things that you haven't done before, life's too short. You should enjoy it and deal with it, you have to let go of everything that hurts you." She smiled and held my hand. "Let's go Akiesha." I nod and follow her.

We're at a bus station, they really have to go home now. "Daddyy~" the twins runs to a man who is riding a black mercedez. He's tall with a blonde hair and blue eyes. "Donald, meet Akiesha. Jack's girl-- I mean wife." His sister introduce me and I smiled. "Man, I thought you're studying. You didn't tell me that you're dating a young maiden." Jack laugh at him and put an arm around my waist.

"She's the girl I'm talking about." He said, and the man whose name is Donald smile wider than his smile earlier. So he's talking about me? and the whole world knew about us? "Its really nice to meet you." He said and carry the bags to his car.

For the last time the twins hug me. "We love you auntie, we will miss you." they say and wave goodbye. Rain hug me too. "Take care of him, he's dumb. Its lovely to meet you, call me okay? lovelots." I smile at her and wave goodbye.

His parents together with Joy already go home to his house, and now we needed to go home too.

"I told you, they will like you." He said while driving our way to my house. "I envy you, you're so lucky to have a lovely and caring family." I answer him looking at the road. "You shouldn't." he said and I pretend to sleep.

We reach my house and I bid him goodbye. Its a tiring yet wonderful day, I check my phone and my bestfriend's blowing it up.

"Where on earth did you came from Akiesha?" She said on the other line. "Calm down Stella, why? does something bad had happen?" I ask her. "Nothing but can you please tell me about this guy who seems to be the topic of our class?" I frown. "Who? Jack?" I ask. "What a dumb question, do I look like I know the guy you're dating. Tell me or I'll chop your head off Akiesha, since when are you two dating?" yes, she's definitely my rude bestfriend but I love her she's the only one who's real, unlike others she didn't use me. She's smart, she's pretty but she never make me feel worthless, she always makes me feel like I'm like her even if I'm not.

"Hey! Dean's calling, tell me tomorrow or I'll beat you off." And one more thing, she really love her boyfriend. I smiled at my bestfriends attitude towards him.

A long day had pass, I need some rest.
