Chris's pov

My eyes opened slowly, the morning light waking me up.

My gaze quickly landed on Jason's sleeping face.

He looked so relaxed. So at peace and innocent.

I gently ran my fingers through his dark hair. It was soft and silky to the touch.

'He's so cute when he's sleeping~', Chase cooed.

"I know", I whispered out loud.

I tenderly placed a kiss on the top of his head.

He gently stirred but settled soon after.

'Don't wake him! I want to watch him sleep!', Chase whined.

'This is nice and all, but watching people sleep is kinda creepy', I thought to him.

'I guess so', Chase pouted, but agreed.

I carefully slid out of bed, trying not to wake Jason. I successfully did so without waking him.

I Gave a long stretch before going to change into some normal clothes.

I had put on a black shirt on with blue jeans.

I found my gaze backtracking to Jason.

'How 'bout you spend the day with him? I wanna learn more about him, and his wolf!', Chase said.

'Huh. Great Idea'

I went over to Jason and gently shook him.

Moments after he jumped straight up frantically.

"B-Breakfast! Im sorry, I'm on it!", he said as he jumped out of bed. his voice sounded shaky and scared.

I grabbed him before he made it to the door.

"Hey, hey, hey! Whats the rush?", I asked.

"I-I have to have breakfast ready by 9", he babbled.

"Jason, you live here now remember? You don't have to follow your dad's rules.", I said, trying not to sound angry at the mention of his father.

I still couldn't see how he could hurt someone like Jason. How could his father do something like that? To his own son, no less!

"Right... Right...", he said, relaxing a little.

"Hey, do you want to go somewhere? There's a place I want to take you.", I told him.

"O-ok", he replied.

"Great!", I said, handing him a shirt and some pants to change into.

It didn't take long for him to get ready, and we were soon heading down the stairs.

I stopped by the kitchen counter and grabbed a couple bananas for me and Jason. I handed him his and we quickly ate. After that we made our way out the door.

A few moments of walking passed by before we started making conversation.

"So, how do you feel? about living here now, I mean", I asked.

"Oh? I-It's nice so far. I don't think Anna likes me much...", he said.

I waved my hand dismissively at him.

"Don't worry about Anna. She's...a... Relatively ok girl once you get to know her.", I said.

'Nope. I still think she's kind of a bitch.', Chase said.

'Shut up! He can't even hear you.', I thought to Chase.

"I-If you say so", Jason said.

"So... Um...where are we going? W-we've been walking for a short while.", he asked.

"Oh, shouldn't be long now. We're almost there, actually.", I said.

We came upon a cluster of tall trees and bushes.

"Great we're here! Now, close your eyes", I told him.

Jason immediately obeyed.

I took his arm and pushed our way through the bushes.

I smiled as I looked at the sight.

"You can open your eyes now", I told him.

He slowly opened his eyes, they widened in amazement.

"wow", he breathed.

Sorry for this short crappy little chapter. I was sick as a dog this weekend. Not to mention grieving for a dead character in my book series that I'm currently reading ( ;~;)....

But I'll pull myself together for you guys and finish this next chapter already.
