Clay smiled at Tony as they watched the Fourth of July fireworks. All the different colors splattered across the night sky, like an artist throwing specks of paint onto a blank canvas.

"It's beautiful out," Clay whispered as another set of beautiful colors formed the U.S flag onto the sky before disappearing.

"Yeah, it really is," Tony agrees looking over at Clay.

The two had decided to get a better view and get away from the crowd and watch from up on the cliff. They were surprised no one else had thought of the idea, but were happy they could be alone.

"Clay, you do know that I'll always love you, right?" Tony suddenly spoke up looking at Clay his hazel colored eyes having a small glow to them as another firework exploded illuminating everything just for a moment.

"I do, Tony. I love you too," Clay nodded furrowing his eyebrows a little, "Something wrong, Tony?"

"Oh, no, no, nothings wrong." Tony quickly responded seeming a bit nervous.

"You sure?"

"Yeah, yeah, don't worry, Clay. I'm perfectly fine." Tony responded before putting an arm around Clay's waist. He forced himself to relax as he felt anxious and nervous at the same time and it was a feeling he didn't like at all.

Tony placed his other hand into his jacket pocket and felt the small fetlt box in the pocket. He was certain that Clay was the one for him; his only fear was did Clay feel the same? Did Clay feel like he was the one for him? Or what if Clay wasn't ready and would reject his proposal what then?

Tony fidgited nervously it was nearing the firework finale where he would ask the most important question of his life.

Tony got up pulling Clay up with him.

"Uh, Tony?" Clay asked, confused,"What are you doing?"

Tony turned to face Clay and gave a small smile, "You'll see."

The firework finale started and soon spelled out, 'Clay Jensen, will you do me the honor of marrying me?'

Tony had paid some people he knew to do this, though some other people did see it; he wanted his proposal to be special. Clay gasped covering his mouth turning to look at Tony already seeing his boyfriend bent down on one knee. Tony took out the red felt box and opened it revealing a silver ring inside with a heart and infinity symbol engraved in it.

"Clay Jensen....you're the light in my life and I'll forever cherish that in my heart. You're special to me and I love you to my very core. Will you marry me?"

Clay nodded, he was tearing up. Clay never thought this day would come, and now he understood how every other couple was happy and grew even more in love.

"Yes! A million times yes for my loveable yoda!"

Tony grinned feeling a sense of relief and stood up placing the ring on Clay's left ring finger. Clay smiled before kissing Tony who immediately kissed back. One last firework lit up behind them and it turned out to be a read heart which surrounded them.
