Will x Mike

Mike sat in front of his walkie-talkie waiting.
Waiting for Will to come home.

5 days.
That's how long Will's been missing.

Mike had just gotten into a fight with Lucas, and Dustin was at his house. Eleven had run away.

Mike didn't care.
He missed Will.

Mike recalled his last conversation with Will, alone.

Will had told Mike he was gay.

And Mike didn't respond.
Mike had been scared of rejection and his parents.

Not anymore.

Mike wished more than anything he could turn back time to turn and say he was too.

Because Mike Wheeler had discovered he is bisexual.

And now he couldn't tell Will.

Mike sat in front of the walkie-talkie for a few hours, thinking.

He's taken in a stranger to find Will, with her creepy/cool powers.

Heck, Mike would pretend to love her if it got her to find Will faster.

"Mike?" A weak voice came over the walkie-talkie.

"Will!" Mike gasped and hugged the walkie-talkie.

"It's Will. Mike, you might not hear me, but I miss you Mike. I miss you so much. The Demagorgan has been tracking me better. If I die, I wanna say one thing first."

Mike was close to tears as Will continued.

"The truth is, I love you Mike Wheeler. I was scared to tell you, but now it's probably  too late." Will sniffed.

Mike started crying. "I love you too Will! Please, please don't leave me!"

Static filled the air as Will disappeared and Mike cried all night, and stayed in the basement, clutching his walkie-talkie, only to be found by a confused Dustin the next day.

Two day time skip.

Mike threw the door open again, after he, Lucas and Dustin left.

There he was.

Will.

Alone.

Will was lying in a hospital bed, with some bandages, needles and a colouring book.

Mike didn't care. He quietly closed the door and locked it.

"I heard your message a few days ago." Mike said, softly.

Will sat up straighter, and directed his attention to Mike.

"What message..?" He said nervously.

"That you love me." Mike said, tears in his eyes.

Will looked at the ground, or more specifically, his blanket.

"I know you don't feel the same, I just-"

Mike rushed forward and planted his lips on Will's.

At first, Will seemed to shocked to respond, but quickly kissed back.

They eventually had to break up for air.

Mike smiled at Will. "I'm bisexual. I love you Will Byers." 

"I love you too Mike Wheeler." Will said, and pulled Mike in for another kiss.

"I'm never leaving your side again." Mike smiled, and accepted the kiss.
