This was the day. This was exactly happening the same as you had planned two months back. You were getting married to the love of your life, Kai Parker.
Yup, it was no one else but Kai, the man you had fall in love with. His beautiful deep blue eyes that made you instantly reel for answers, his perfect pink lips when made contact with your skin set your body on fire and of course, his Parker smirk, well, that alone made you skip two beats. You met him in the prison world which was magically created by his father. Bonnie and you were probably the first to find him in his prison world or what he claimed it as his "own personal hell ".
You and Matt were the only humans that survived among all these otherworldly creatures in this supernatural city of Mystic Falls. Bonnie knew about Kai's past. How he went on a killing spree and killed most of his family members and become the famous psychopath. Everyone wanted you to stay away from him, but who could stop you from loving such a beautiful monster? As the days passed, you found yourself loving him more and more and you couldn't help it .
You become friends with Kai when he saw you not as a hater or a judgemental hypocrite but a girl with a pure heart and a soul which felt deeply for him.
Kai was abused and neglected by his family as a child, no friends as an adult. He was a man who had never been loved and that exactly made him a cold, heartless monster . But you were always there to calm his demons and save him from drowning in his guilts.
You were wearing a beautiful, white long sleeved, boat neck wedding gown with a white satin bow attached to the back of your gown. Your hair was neatly upswept in a bun with small bridal headpieces allowing some strands of your hair to hang loosely. You applied a dark shade of red lipstick which perfectly matched with your stunning white dress. You were looking drop dead gorgeous.
You were suddenly brought out of your thoughts when you felt a strong pair of muscular arms wrapped around you from behind, pulling you close to his chest and resting his chin on your shoulders. You could inhale his strong musk, spinning your head wild.
"You look stunning cupcake ", Kai whispered.
You crimsoned at his compliment. "why, thank you. "
You both stared at each other in a large blue and white porcelain frame mirror. None of you said a word, smiling at each other, him holding you from behind as if his life was dependent on you. Your heart beats faster as if it would just jump out of your mouth.
As much as you wanted to stay in that moment, you hated when Kai withdrew his arms and turned you around to face him.
"Thank you ", was all he said and before you could say anything Kai gently pressed his lips against yours, pulling you close to himself. You smiled. After a minute what seemed to be forever, you pulled away for air. Kai leaned forward, his forehead touching yours, eyes closed. You were still breathing heavily. You knew exactly what he was trying to do. It was a custom for you both for which you never hesitated. It reminded you that Kai was always there for you and you for him.
So it happened, the two of you said those five words that meant so much for you both in this world.
" Till death do us part. "
