They pulled up to an older run down house. Dakota nodded to the door. He leaned against his car and let Alex do her thing. She walked up the old creaking steps and knocked hard on the door. A larger man with a long dark ponytail answered the door. He had tattoos up his arms and a leather vest on. Alex raised an eyebrow at him and he started to slam the door. She stuck her poot quickly in the door and shoved it open. "Give me Charles and I won't kick your ass.", she spat as the force of the door knocked him down. He scrambled up and she caught him by the hair. "Your choice.", she said and tossed him out the door. He rolled down the sidewalk as she walked right behind him. "You have 30 seconds!", she shouted. Dakota laughed. "Man, you better give her what she wants. She likes to get dirty.", he said as the man looked up at him. He attempted to pick himself up off the ground but she kicked him hard in the ribs. He grunted in pain and collapsed back to the ground. She squatted down to him and took off her sunglasses. "I can be nice if you just cooperate with me. Tell me where Charles is or anything you know and I will let you go.", she said looking him over. "He will kill me if I do!", he said. Alex rolled her eyes and stood back up as she put her glasses back on. "Buddy you will wish you were dead when I am done with you.", she said and picked him up by his vest. Her new strength was a huge advantage to her now. She stood him up and they stared at each other a second before she hit his square in the jaw. He grunted and spit some blood from his mouth. He turned back to her with his head high. "OH man, you should not have done that.", Dakota laughed. Alex punched him against and leaned him over the hood of her car. She pinned him down with her arm. "Gonna talk yet?", she asked. He smiled and spit blood on her car. She growled and slammed him into the ground. She leaned down and ripped a patch from his pants and wiped up the blood from her car. She tossed it back down to him. Something that James used to do popped in her head. She held out her hand and focused. It began to grow and reshape. Large claws were now exposed. She smiled and leaned down to him. She grabbed his throat with one hand and readied her claws. He suddenly gasped. "I know you! I know who you are!", he cried out. She dropped him and he crawled onto his knees. He bowed his head low to the ground. "He changed her hand back. "Excuse me?", she spat out. He looked up seemingly scared now. "You are his daughter.", he said as his voice began to shake. "Who's?", she asked more curious than angry. He looked up fully now. "There is an ancient loop nearby. He is your father. Your real father." he said. She looked over to Dakota who shrugged his shoulders. "Take me.", she ordered. He nodded and quickly scrambled to his feet. She shoved him to the car and got into the passenger side. She pulled her gun and pressed it to his temple. "If you lead us anywhere but to my father, I will make you wish you were dead.", she said dangerously. He nodded and quickly started the car. Dakota followed closely behind in his car. They drove further and further away from town. She growled dangerously. "The loop is hidden deep within the woods. I swear I am taking you to him.", he said quickly defending himself. She narrowed her eyes at him but let him continued. He turned down a dirt driveway. After a while he slowed. "The loop is the gate.", he said. Alex nodded and he continued. They passed large iron gates that swung open for them. The smell of fresh earth filled Alex's senses. A part of her wanted to race through the trees and be free. She kept her attention locked on the man who sweated nervously behind the wheel. The gate closed behind Dakota and seemed to lock. Alex kept her cool but was growing nervous. They pulled up to a seemingly nice house. It was a dark grey, two story. There was a separate garage with a second story to it to. He pulled the car to a stop and sat there nervously. "Get out.", Alex commanded. He scrambled to open the door and fell out to the ground. Alex quickly climbed out and pointed the gun back at him. "Where is he?", She barked down at him. He started to pick himself up off of the ground when a deep voice caught everyone's attention. Alex swung around quickly. Dakota drew his side piece and pointed it down at the man on the ground. Alex came face to face with a tall, muscular older man with white hair. His eyes, the same bright blue that Alex was born with. He Had the top half of his hair pulled back, the under half was buzzed. He had a white five o'clock shadow. Three small scars were standing out on his jaw. He wore an old grey shirt, worn black jeans and dirty bikers boots. Blue met blue and Alex caught his scent. It was warm, a hint of cedar and something familiar. He smiled widely. His white teeth flashed fangs. He was just like her. She lowered her gun. Dakota looked at her confused. "Alex.", he whispered. She holstered it and lowered her hand at Dakota, signalling for him to lower his gun. He hesitated but obeyed. The man behind Alex rushed behind the large white haired man. He held his bleeding face. "She is vicious! Do something with her! Restrain her!", he cried out. Alex growled up at them. The large man smiled wider. "Excuse him. He is just trying so desperately become my beta and failing horribly. The man said calmly. Dakota inched closer to Alex, prepared to defend her. The man put his hand over his heart and bowed. "Pardon my manners, this bloody mess is Matt. He can be a little ignorant. I apologize on his behalf.", he said. Alex rolled her eyes. "I did not come here to hear his name or for you to apologize for him!", Alex growled. The man laughed and began to step from the porch. "Oh I know exactly why you are here.", he said back. Alex narrowed her eyes. "Oh yeah? Why am I here?", she said as she began to feel herself prepare for the change. He held up his hands. "Woah now, Don't go changed on me again. I do not need another one of these.", he said tapping on his set of scars on his jaw. She looked at him confused. He waved the man on the porch away and he scurried inside to clean himself up. Alex smiled at the small blood trail he left behind. His eyes shone bright with pride. "You have grown up so beautifully. How I wished I could have raised you. She gave you up though. All because of these scars.", he said thoughtfully while scratching the scars. Alex felt a ping at her heart and took a step forward. "I know you.", She whispered. Her eyes began to sting. His scent, she knew this scent. Her earliest memories were wrapped in the arms of this man. His warm smile. He smiled widely and held open his arms for her. "Finally you have come home. Give your old man a hug.", he said proudly. She smiled and ran to him. She had no control over herself as she flung her arms around his neck. She took in his scent deeply. He picked her up and held her close. Dakota tensed hard. "Alex!", he yelled. The man smiled at him. "Easy there pup, Let a girl hug her long lost father.", he said still holding tight to Alex. Dakota looked at him confused. "Father?", he said lowering his guard. The man smiled and let go of Alex as she pulled back. "I fathered this gorgeous spitfire.", he said looking down at her. He reached up and touched her cheek, wiping a lone tear away. "Your mother would be so proud of the woman you have grown into.", he said proudly.
