IMPORTANT MESSAGE AT THE END OF THIS CHAPTER THAT I REALLY NEED YOU ALL TO READ PLEASE!!! 🤡🤡🤡
"Ok, have a good day!" Trisha called after her patient from her new office. This office was larger than the first, and the walls were painted and the room was pre-decorated. She liked this office a lot more than the other one in all honesty, but she missed her family a lot. Michael refused to answer her calls, which broke her heart, and Hannah didn't know how to answer a phone. Luckily her house sitter answered he phone, so each day during her lunch break she got to call home and talk to her little daughter. Hannah seemed to be adapting well, considering she hadn't seen her mother since Sunday. When questioned, her two year old daughter had answered that she knew her mother was coming home in a couple of weeks. At least the toddler was more mature than even her own husband.
She was finishing up organizing her files when there was a vicious pounding on the door. Trisha glanced up, surprised. She glanced at the clock and saw that it was 2:51, and her next appointment was with Mac at 3:00...
"Come in!" She called, knowing that Mac would only be pounding the door if he was desperate.
Mac swung the door open and stormed in, his face a deep shade of red. He threw himself on the couch, staring at the ceiling. Before Trisha had a chance to move, he growled.
"We kissed." He spat, covering his face with his hands.
"What?" Trisha asked, getting up and sitting in her chair.
"Jesus. We fuckin' kissed." He growled, rubbing his face with his hands so badly it started turning red.
"Oh. Well wanna tell me about how it went?" Trisha offered, setting the notebook and pen down and crossing her legs over each other in a comfy position.
Mac groaned and rubbed his face, then he let his hands drop as he sat up. "I uh, went into the library after him, and I made everyone else get out so it was just me an' him. And I just... I..." he sighed and closed his eyes. "I kissed him."
Trisha nodded thoughtfully, a little bit surprised in all honesty but still thoughtful. "Did you like the kiss?" She asked softly.
Mac hesitated before nodding a little. "Tasted like breakfast an' made me hungry." He admitted.
Trisha smiled reassuringly, nodding to for Mac to go on.
He sighed and started twiddling with his thumbs. "Jesus invited me back to the library on Friday. I dunno if I should go."
"Well, do you want to go?" Trisha asked.
Mac shrugged. "Yes? No? I dunno."
"Ok, well let's think of the positives of you going. What do you think could happen?" Trisha pressed softly.
Mac shrugged. "May joke around a little. Maybe... kiss again." He mumbled, biting his lip.
"Ok, and would you like to kiss him again?"
Mac's gaze focused on his lap, and for a moment he seemed very small and vulnerable, something that Trisha hadn't seen before. "Yes." Mac whispered softly, almost too quietly for Trisha to hear.
She smiled and nodded again. "Ok, so why not go?"
"I-I can't like him. I just fuckin' can't. Some of the Heathens around here hate fags, and if they find out I not only kissed but enjoyed a kiss with another man, they'd hurt both of us." Mac admitted. "Plus I dunno where the hell Negan stands with the whole gay thing."
Trisha nodded again, and bit her lip. "If Negan were ok with homosexuals, would you consider being with Jesus?"
Mac scoffed. "Ya seemed to have forgotten about the Heathens here."
Trisha nodded again. "Well you're in Negan's little circle, aren't you? Wouldn't he protect the members of his circle?"
"Yeah but what about when we go back to the main prison? Then what? Negan can't do shit over there." He muttered, gnawing on his lip.
Mac groaned and leaned back, and Trisha could tell that he was thinking deeply. She waited patiently, knowing that he needed this time to quietly think.
Finally he sighed and sat up, facing Trisha. "How're things with your family?"
Trisha smiled softly. "They're ok. My daughter is visiting this weekend and I plan on taking her to the aquarium." She said, recrossing her legs.
Mac nodded, and tried to give her a small smile. But his eyes were so glazed with confusion and were so complex that Trisha didn't know what to say.
He got up and sighed, heading towards the door. Before he left, though, he paused and turned to glance at her. "I think I'm gonna go." He whispered softly, right before slipping out the door.
BAD NEWS, GOOD NEWS, AND GOOD NEWS!!! Ok, bad news first; I know how I'm ending this book. Good news; it's not for a while. GOOD NEWS; After this book I have plans for another. It'll be Daryl X Jesus, alternative universe, and I'm just excited for it. :D I have the prologue all set up and will be posting it sometime today, and if y'all like it I'll continue writing it after Therapy Session is finished. :) I may update it every now and then, but I won't make it a priority until Therapy Session is done. :)
😛❤️😛❤️😛
Sorry this chapter was a bit shitty lol. It's just I knew no one would care about a message in just an "Update" chapter so I had to add the actual story lol.
