Star Butterfly, a magical princess from the dimension called Mewni, was sent to Earth for a purpose to learn about responsibility and the power of her wand.
Upon setting foot on Earth, she had thought that the planet was a magical place as well, but the more she stumbled upon, the more she learned. She had been assigned to a specific human to take care of her, the 'safe kid', Marco Diaz.
For a little while, Marco had thought of Star as a trouble-making, weird magical girl. But over time, he discovered that there was more to her than just that, she was a fun, fearless and carefree girl and a free-spirited extraordinary princess. He had fought by her side since the first day, protecting her and caring for her, always being by her side and above everything else, he was her best friend.
