Star was left at home to heal her injury from the other day while Marco was away. He made a list of things that Star should and should not do around the house while he was gone, and also left a note for her that he stuck on the fridge so she'd be reminded how to make nachos and do things without magic.
She sat on the couch all day watching TV and dealing with boredom. She also occasionally wrote on her journal as she waited.
"UGH." She grunted.
"I don't like this injury... it's very unsettling... it's no good and it's bothering me..." She continued.
She walked towards the kitchen to prepare some nachos for herself. She was very starving yet lazy, but she pulled it off.
"Where are Mr. And Mrs. Diaz?" She asked.
"Maybe they're somewhere else..." She concluded.
She began to make the nachos while she thought of Marco. The thoughts in her head were despicable, but innocent. She thought of hugging Marco when he came back, or surprise him. She planned out a lot of events in her head and simply could not choose between any them.
"All of these ideas are great... but which would I choose? Which one can make him happier?" She wondered to herself.
"Which would he love the most?" She asked herself.
She turned off the television and ate the nachos in her room instead. She played 'puppeteer' as she did so.
Star: "Hey, which idea do you think Marco would like best?"
Puppet 1: "Maybe he'd like the one with the hug. He loves hugs!"
Star: "But what if he doesn't?"
Puppet 2: "You're right. But what else do you have in mind?"
Star: "a lot."
Puppet 2: "like what?"
Star: "like the surprise party where everyone comes to surprise him, or the Friendship Thursday with Kelley, Pony Head and Jana since it's actually Thursday today."
Puppet 1: "what else?"
Star: "a slumber party or a pool party."
Puppet 2: "anything else?"
Star: "a party with... Jackie?"
Puppet 1: "That's great! Since Marco is happier with Jackie, let's surprise him with her!"
Puppet 2: "Yeah!"
Star: "the plan is decided!"
"It feels like I'm mocking myself..." She said to herself.
Star skipped merrily downstairs and grabbed her wand to poof the decorations and gifts.
"Banner!" Star shouted happily.
"Fluffy carpet!" She said merrily.
"Nachos!" She said while laughing.
"Christmas tree!" She said energetically.
"Oh wait, Christmas is done. Let's poof that back." She said while giggling.
"I see, I see. Almost done." She said while checking the list.
"Just one more thing left. JACKIE!" She said happily.
She poofed Jackie on the carpet perfectly.
"Hi Star." Jackie greeted.
"Uhh... what am I doing here, Star?" She asked.
"We're going to surprise Marco." She replied happily.
