Vanessa spent the day with Louisa. They had to choose the envelopes of the invitations. The wedding was going to take place in the following autumn. September to be exact. Vanessa had already started the preparations, since she wanted everything to be perfect. It had to be perfect. That was the most important day of her life. And it had to be the most special one. Vanessa touched some of the envelopes. The color was way too pink even for her taste.
- What do you think about these ?
She asked Louisa.
The girl looked at them carefully.
- I don't really like the color.
- Me neither.
With the baby on the way, things would be far more difficult than Vanessa would have ever guessed. But she didn't care. This had to be her happy ending, cause she definitely deserved one. After everything that had happened, Vanessa wanted just to have a normal life. No more drama, going on in her life. She had finally found Mesut and she knew she was really lucky, cause Mesut was all she ever wanted. Everything she could wish for. And she knew she was beyond lucky. Cause Mesut could really make her happy. He could actually make her the happiest girl alive. Vanessa kept playing in her mind, the way they had firstly met. Everything was so different back then. And Vanessa couldn't have never imagined, that this was how things would turn out. She couldn't deny that she had thought that Mesut was hot ever since she met him, but she didn't feel right, knowing that she could possibly have something with one of the teammates' of her ex's. It just didn't seem right to her, although she wasn't the one who decided to call off the wedding with Julian. Vanessa touched the ring in her hand. This ring was much more important than she could imagine, cause it was a ring full of promises. A ring that symbolized her common life with Mesut. She couldn't have been happier. She had everything she ever would wish for. And all, thanks to one person. To Mesut.Mesut had told his teammates his news about proposing to Vanessa. Well, the truth was, Aaron had told them the news. Mainly because he could never keep his mouth shut and at the same time because he wanted to make fun about it, cause honestly he found it way too funny. Mesut on the other hand, was really proud of himself for having done such thing in his life. He was making a big step and he knew it. Things wouldn't be the way they were. Everything he had been through, had always came down to that one person that was really special for him. She meant the world to him. Actually she was his world. And Mesut was now pretty sure that he could never imagine his life without her. How could he be that blind at first ? Denying his feelings even to himself. He was always the one to make the first move though. And he was even more proud because of that. He loved Vanessa, he was lucky to figure that out early enough. Vanessa had always been hesitant in the beginning, but Mesut never really blamed her. He knew, she was scared because of an already failed engagement and because Mesut was a teammate of Julian's. So, Mesut never pushed her too far and never asked from her more than he knew she could give. And Mesut had made a lot of sacrifices. Only because of her. Only because he loved her. And he made sure Vanessa knew that he loved her. He was so happy for being surrounded by a person like her. Vanessa could be really spoiled at times, but she always got what she wanted. Mesut loved every little thing about her, and now she was having the most important thing of all. Their child. They were both going to become parents. Mesut had freaked out in the beginning, thinking that he wouldn't be a good father. But of course, this wasn't the case. He knew that he could overcome everything having Vanessa by his side. They were going to be together in that. His family was happy with the news, and so was hers. Even Aaron was happy with the news although he never really admitted it. Because he was Aaron. And because he thought that it was better to be single for the rest of his life. That sounded good to Mesut too, but then he met Vanessa. And then everything changed. He was not the same person anymore. He could sacrifice everything for her. He now knew. He loved her. And this wasn't going to change. Ever. He really wished for a happy wedding with Vanessa by his side. He wouldn't have asked for anything more than that. Vanessa was the most important person for him. She was the only one that truly mattered. And Mesut now knew, why it had never worked with someone else.
