The Truth is Revealed

Chapter 7

Its morning and Naruto starts to wake up. He slowly open his crystal ocean blue eyes to meet someone's chest. He looks up to see that he was snuggled up next to Sasuke. His face went red with embarrassment. He slowly removes the ravens arms from his waist and slips out of the tent without waking him.

He feels the morning sun on his skin and stretches his arms, only to notice that his tails and ears are out.

"What happened when I was asleep?"

"You want me to tell you?" Kurama smirked.

"Yes Nee-san"

"Well for starters you fell asleep clinging to the emo brat, your ears and tails came out as he was trying to pry you off of him, and once you were off you had a nightmare and once again you clinged yourself to him," she started to giggle as she thinks back to how clingy Naruto acted towards Sasuke.

Naruto's face was red, he felt ashamed at what he did in his sleep. He got up to look around to see that he was the only one up. His tails swayed side to side as he walked. He loves it when stretches his tails out. When he doesn't do it from time to time he feels uncomfortable, like he is suffocating.

He sat on one of the logs, just looking at the nature around him. The birds started to come down and sit next to him, same with the squirrels. The animals in the forest always made Naruto calm in most situations.

He soon felt a tug on his tail, turned and saw Akamaru tugging at his tail. He picked the little pup up and put him in his arms.

"Its nice to see you too Akumaru. Shouldn't you wake Kiba up so he won't worry about you," Naruto said.

Akumaru wined, saying that he wants to play with him instead. Naruto gave in and played with the little pup for at least an hour before someone else woke up.

"AHH!!"

Everyone shot up from their slumber after hearing someone screamed. The screamed seemed to come from Kiba and Shino's tent. Everyone ran to see what the commotion was about. They look in the tent to see a freaked out Kiba.

"Kiba what's the matter," Kurenai asked.

"Where's Akumaru?!"

Naruto pushed through people with his tail wrapped around Akumaru. He sat in front of Kiba and handed him Akumaru.

"I-I'm sorry Kiba-kun, Akumaru woke up an hour before you and wanted to play with me. He didn't want to wake you up, we're sorry," Naruto looks down at the ground.

"Its okay Naruto and Akumaru don't scare me like that," Kiba said.

Naruto and Akumaru, both wagged their tails at how their happy that Kiba forgave them.

"Well, now that everyone's awake, why don't we continue with our trip," Kakashi said.

"Hai"

All the Genins and their senseis gathered all their stuff and started waking deeper into the forest.
