In a world of humans a dragon is born. This new being is not normal. Half dragon half human. The father turned him fully human. He left his son in a basket with a crimson blanket and a name tag that read "River"at a doorstep. As light as possible he tapped the doorbell with his claw. He took off as soon as he did. The two people who were in the house answered the door. When they looked they were shocked. Picking up the child, the woman brought him inside. The poor boy was shivering.
The next day the boy opened his eyes. The new Mother and Father were shocked. His eyes were a Fire-Orange color. It was then when they realized the reason he was left at their doorway. This child was the son of a dragon and human, a draco. They took a closer look at The basket they found him in. They lifted the crimson blanket and what they saw shocked them. There was a ruby in the bottom of the basket. They decided to take it to a jeweler, and have it be made into a necklace.
It only took 5 years when River realized he was adopted.
