It was the week of the Prince's ball and everyone in the kingdom was getting ready. Sadly Wonwoo was stuck is a very long list of chores to complete everyday that his stepmother and stepsisters wrote out. They would torture him with an endless amount of dresses to mend, furniture to be cleaned and laundry to do.
Wonwoo sigh as he finished the latest batch of chores he was given. It was nearing the end of the week and Wonwoo had not had the time to work on fixing a suit for him to wear at the ball. He was planning to wear it with this broach that his Mother had given him before she passed away. It was something that was precious because it was made into a locket and inside was a small family picture of them before Boo Seungkwanna ruined everything he once had. Wonwoo had wanted to wear it because it would feel like his mother would be there with him.
"Wonwoo! Go collect some firewood!" yelled his stepmother. "I'll never be able to get anything done at this rate," he mumbled as he left.
Jun and Minghao had been watching Wonwoo all week, feeling sorry for all the trouble that was pushed onto him. "Jun, I have an idea! What if we fix up Wonwoo's clothes so he can go to the party?" shouted Minghao. "But Hao, we're mice. We don't have opposable thumbs!" Jun rebuked. "Still, that doesn't mean we can't show, come on, let's gather all of our friends!" Minghao exclaimed, scurrying away.
"Okay everyone, we all know Wonwoo has shown much kindness to us and has sacrificed everything he had. Now it's our turn to do that! Tonight, we shall fix up his suit and make sure he goes to the ball!" Everyone cheered at Minghao's statement.
"Birds, you guys are in charge of sewing, rabbits you guys can use your teeth as scissors and mice, you guys will be re-threading needles. Everyone clear on what they'll be doing?" "Yes sir!' yelled the wood creatures.
Time passed, everybody working as hard as they could to complete their project. The suit was starting to transform into something brand new before their eyes. What once was an old frayed suit, turned into a beautiful elegant red tuxedo, perfect for the ball.
The woodland creatures were proud of themselves for being able to finish Wonwoo evening clothes within the short time period that they had. "I hope Wonwoo likes this." Jun said, as he and the others gathered themselves to put on the finishing touches on the dress. They managed to find his Mother's old locket that only she and Wonwoo new how to open. Minghao had turned it into necklace for Wonwoo to wear. It added a personal touch to the clothes since they knew how much he cherished his Mother when she was still alive.
"I think we're finished now guys!" Minghao yelled, stepping back to get a better view of their masterpiece. There laid before them, was the stunning velvety red suit that they were able to assemble in a short amount of time. "Let's go get Wonwoo," Jun declared, as all the animals scattered about in hopes of finding their precious human.
