How to be an effective RP

Syempre the very first tip na ibibigay ko sainyo is know your port very well. From their attitudes, how they talk, how do they communicate with fans and such. Sa attitude part, pwede mong ipakita yung oncam attitude ng port mo. On how people see her or how she acts onstage. Pwede mo ring ipromote yung offcam attitude nya. One idol na perfect sa example na to is Jessica. She acts cool onstage diba? Di sya masyadong palaexpress in front of the cam specially when she's still in the group. Thats why ice princess sya. But off cam she's cute and cuddly. Try to watch reality shows of your port. In Sica's case, Its jessica and krystal. Dun mo makikita real attitudes nila.

Second is be updated. From where they are heading to, who they are with, when is the next comeback, fanmeetings, concerts, and other official schedule nila. Kahit in their vacation you should be updated as well. Now where to get those infos, basically sa official account ng port mo, ig, twitter, snapchat or weibo. Pero for those artists na bihira lang magupdate ng sns nila, try looking for fan accounts on twitter. Yung mga legit twitter spazzer para legit infos din.

Third, put yourself in your character's shoes. Kung may awards silang natanggap, think on how your port will react. But dont go too overboard. Remember rule number 1. Kung di naman sobrang lively ng port mo, dont be too energetic diba. Simpleng 'Thank you Golden Stars! I truly appreciate all your efforts. 사랑해!' will do.

Fourth. Learn to put hangeul, especially if your character cant speak english fluently. Pero kung fluent naman, no need to do this na kadi it will turn out slang. Too unlikely for your port.

Fifth, always think like your character. Yun talaga yung key to be an effective IC rp.

Ofcourse you need a plot. I think I already said the types of au plots diba. The thing that you reallly need for au roleplaying is imagination. Bago ka magpost dapat may plot kana, mula ending hanggang sa twist ng story hanggang sa magending. Pwede mo nalang pahabain sya habang nagpopost ka basta make sure na magstick ka sa plot.

Second, build your character. For example, I chose the blogger-au plot, dapat may characteristics na ko for my blogger. It can be a traveller or food blogger. Then the basics like name, nationality age and her likes and dislikes. Build her personality as well. Basta stick to your plot, and make sure to use all the infos na nasa character mo.

Third, motivation. Seryoso kailangan rin to.Kahit gaano kaganda mga posts mo kung tinatamad ka na naman ituloy mababalewala parin yan. Try looking for motivation sa bias mo, sa merch mo ganon. Personally I look motivation sa albums ko. Like I promise to buy an album or books pag nakatapos ako ng isang plot na worth it. Tapos yun, I just find out na nakakatapos na pala ako and I really need to give myself the album that I promised ><

Fourth, creativity. Dont be afraid to try something new, your in an alternate universe pwedeng mangyari ang kahit na ano sa character mo. Pwedeng out of the blu may lalabas na bagong character, basta dapat stick to the ending kahit anong mangyari.

Fifth, try to look for people who has the same plot as you or who's willing to be in your plot. Either he/she will be one of the main characters or simpleng interactions lang. Di lang sya mas masaya but readers can see two different POVs of your plot. I tried this a couple of times pero puro jungsis interactions lang. I tried being on another plot (fashion company plot; I was the designer here) and mas masaya talaga sya. Kase mostly dito go with the flow lang, minsan wala ng plot na sinusunod basta intact yung characters. Sa interactions kasi, pwedeng two different plots pero may isang scene lang kayo na magkikita don (e.g., jungli interaction; student-photographer si stal, model si sulli. Mag memeet sila for project ni stal then si sulli yung model nya. After that interaction back to own plot nanaman sila). In this way naman you can gain more friends.
