"Ugh, that was great babe," I groaned rolling off of Kylie.
She let out a sigh and a smile while she stared at the ceiling.
"Yeah. Next Friday... my house again?" She questioned.
"I wouldn't miss it for the world," I replied.
I gave Kylie a soft kiss on her lips before ripping off the sheet that covered me. I sat on the edge of the bed, struggling back into me jeans, throwing on my shoes, and pulling my hoodie over my unkempt hair. Just as I was leaving I heard her phone ring. I looked to her bedside table and saw "NATE" scrawled across her phone's screen. She gave me a wink and answered it.
"Hey Boo," She said, "yeah, I just woke up... the mall at 12? Okay, seeyah' there cutie!"
I gave her a smirk and joked, "Sounds like the boyfriend wants you, better not be late."
I drove home with the windows down, enjoying the damp spring air. I took deep breaths in as I admired the quiet windy roads I was navigating. I pulled up to my house and wandered into my room as usual, avoiding my parents eating breakfast. I plopped down on my cushy bed; sinking into the comforter as I thought about my plans for the day.
It was a Saturday day morning, the first Saturday of summer.
"The world is my oyster," I thought to myself.
With that in mind, I walked into my bathroom, opened the handle of my 'Special Hairbrush' and pulled out my baggie. With baggie in hand I walked back to my bed and spread it's contents out across my night stand. Loads of drugs, I mean, I didn't meet Kylie by chance.
We met at a party over spring break which was a few months back. It was a stereo typically high school house party. No parents, alcohol, and lots and lots of hormones. Normally, I wouldn't have gone to someone I didn't know's party, but I ended up getting invited. Someone had told her that I had drugs to share, so she sent me a text the night (still don't know how she got my number) before asking if I would come and "enhance" the party.
The jist of it is that I came to the party with pockets loaded with pills and weed. Soon after everyone was gone in a haze of euphoria I decided to duck out and leave, content with helping a party along. As I went to leave, I felt a slight tap on my back. I turned around to see Kylie gesturing for me to follow her up the stairs, away from the party raging on the first floor.
