I silently closed the book and felt pain deep in my heart. I set it down on my desk and then

checked out another patient. I had gone to college in Germany and not only picked up the

language but also the medical practices. I was a practiced doctor and knowledgeable. I had not

let my family down and I made sure not to. They will always be a part of my life and they won't

ever be forgotten. Finally, I had helped deliver a baby and I took her and washed her off gently

and wrapped her in a soft pink blanket. "What will you be naming her?" I ask as I hand the baby

to the tearful new mother. "Haya." She said softly looking at her husband with love then turning

her gaze to her new child that was crying. "That's a wonderful name." I said smiling.
