Nathan's POV
Bryce: Dude, How long are you gonna keep this up
Nathan: 'Till my next interview which is next week. I know their gonna ask about our relationship so it'll be the perfect time to dump her
Bryce shook his head as he let out a humorless laugh.
Bryce: I can't believe your using her, you won't get good publicity at all especially after that Jai guy finds out
Nathan: I'll take care of that
A smirk formed on my face and I dropped the subject, going over the plan in my mind. Ariana Grande, be prepared for your worst nightmare.
Ariana's POV
The ringing of my phone distracted me from the book on my lap, and I let out a groan. I haven't read a good book in a while and the fact that someone was purposely trying to disturb me irritated me.
Ariana: Hello?
Nathan: Hey, Ariana, Can I come over?
Ariana: okay...
Nathan: Great, I'll be there soon
Nathan hung up and I let a frustrated sigh escape my mouth as I shut the book and returned it to the empty space on my bookshelf. Minutes, later the doorbell rang and I ran to the door, not sure why I was in such a hurry.
I heard a loud click sound and I pulled the door open, greeted by Nathan.
Ariana: Hey, Come in
He took a small step and was soon heading for the kitchen, leaving me to close the door.
My bare feet hit the cold kitchen floor and I shivered slightly before my body heat spread to my feet aswell.
Ariana:So....what brings you here?
I leaned against the kitchen counter, crossing my arms across my chest, before turning all my attention to him.
Nathan:....I don't think this is working out .
He pointed to me then him causing me to furrow my brows. In my mind I was doing my happy dance but I didn't want him to know I was wishing we'd break up sooner.
Ariana:Why'd you say that
Nathan ran his fingers through his hair in a frustrated manner as if to say "do I really have to explain"
Nathan:We're over that's it ....bye
His response took me by surprise, causing my jaw to drop open. His eyes avoided mine before he quickly walked out the door.
What a jerk?! I thought to myself, even though I wanted to break up with him I wanted to know why. Was I rude and selfish?
I shook my head to myself and dropped back onto the couch taking a sip of tea from my pastel pink mug, the warm liquid instantly calming my nerves down.
Out of things too do I sat there, thinking about everything. I am now offically single. Should I tell Jai? or would he kill Nathan?. I decided to call Jai, since I couldn't keep something like this from him. I knew he would be mad at me if he found out from someone else.
Jai:Hello?
Ariana:Hey!
Jai:Ariana, sup
Ariana:nothing....except the fact that I am now offically single...
Jai:Huh? what happened? Are you okay? do you want me to come over?
Ariana:Could you come over I'm bored
