you have always been a great writer. you write poems of different topics. but you mostly write about the youth.

you were also a great rapper. and you seem to not believe me when i said you were.

why not, though?

it hurt me a bit when you did not believe me. i wanted you to believe me. so you can have the confidence you've always looked for. i wished you did so i may be of help to you.

but you didn't.

i felt awful sometimes. knowing that you always give me the strength i need but i can't do anything to give you the strength you need.

so i just stayed. since this was the only request you've ever asked of me. to stay with you. right?
i will always be the one to listen to you. i will be here to read your poems and appreciate them. i will be the one to encourage you to write more even though you'd always say 'you are not good enough'. i will be the one to tell others about how amazing you are. and i will be the one to tell you that you can be a star.

i will just be by your side, namjoon.

i'll stay even for forever. because it's the only thing you've asked of me. and this is how i can only ever repay you.
