A girl is cowering in the safe shadows of the corner of her tiny room. Even though she has made herself as small as possible you can still see some tears dripping from her eyes.
A knock is heard. The girl shoots up, giving a seemingly fake smile, and opens the door to reveal a beautiful woman. Presumably her mother, as they look very alike. Both have blond wavy hair and bluish green eyes, but the mother wears hers proudly while the girl looks ashamed to even exist.
"Hello baby-girl!" are the first words from the mother's beaming lips.
"Hey mom, how was your day?" the daughter simpers after giving her dear mother a welcoming hug, "I haven't seen you in a while."
While these two ladies chit-chat, there's a man sitting in a comfortable looking armchair downstairs. He's pretty handsome, albeit he has already reached the end of his thirties and looks quite grumpy. One would describe the two ladies as exotic and delicate, where he'd be described as a robust patriot. With brown hair, eyes and more than sunkissed skin, he kind of looked like a farmer or a warrior.
Night is already falling, it's only spring after all, so this family can go to sleep peacefully, completely ignoring the supernaturals waging a fierce battle several leagues away.
