The next day proved to be incredibly busy. Aurora's pack was a rather small pack, it had around about eighty wolves all together, including children and it was situated on the borderline of a big enough forest on one side, and human settlement a little ways over on the opposite side. A lot of the wolves often worked within the human shops, factories and other things that the humans had over there. Mostly the wolves tried to get building and construction jobs as they naturally excelled at them from their sheer strength.Such a small pack, gossip and news travelled around the members like a wildfire and soon the entire place was in a frenzy over this Alpha that was visiting. Aurora wasn't exactly sure what the fuss was about, the fact that they were having a visitor or because of who the visitor was. Either way, Aurora joined in with helping out her fellow pack mates as much as she possibly could.
Turns out that this Alpha Harry Styles, wanted to strike a deal with Alpha Brendan. Something to do with the human settlement and some problems that the Feroce Lupus pack had been facing recently. She wasn't sure the exact reasons why he was visiting but it was something out of the boring normal so she was happy either way.
She knocked on the door of her best friend and Alpha's house hoping that Persephone, or Sephy as she liked to be called would not be too busy so they could catch up a little. She would surely know all there is to know being the Alphas daughter.
The door swung open to reveal Luna Rebekah who looked slightly frazzled with bits of hair all over the shop and her smart clothes covered in wrinkles. It was understandable though as they had quite recently welcomed a new addition to their family. A little baby boy.
Although the Luna was now in her late thirties, menopause was slowed down along with the ageing of the wolves so they could procreate for a while. Aurora internally found amusement at the thought of a seventy year old wolf still having babies although It wasn't that extreme and certainly not possible. She tipped her head down slightly in respect before giving her Luna a bright grin.
"Good morning, Luna. Is Sephy in?" Aurora asked eagerly as she rocked back and forth on her heels gently. As frank as she was with the Luna since she was best friends with her daughter; both the Alpha and Luna still managed to instil that slight nervousness into her wolf from their natural dominance and hierarchy.
The Luna smiled tiredly.
"Morning, darling. Yes, in fact, I've given her a list of things to buy from the human town over and between you and me, she'll need all the help she can get." Luna Rebekah whispered with a wink. Aurora giggled lightly.
"No worries, Luna. I'll keep Sephy in check."
Sephy loved the human town, so generally whenever she was permitted to go over, the Alpha and Luna opted to ask Aurora to go with her so Sephy didn't get too carried away. Sephy was more adventurous and brave—which came naturally from her heritage, but Aurora was smart and sensible so her parents were always at ease with her.
"Rory! Are you ready to go shopping?" A excited yell from the darkness of the large house behind the Luna caught Auroras attention.
"I will be once you get your butt out here!" Aurora replied earning a little laugh from the Luna who asked Rory to come in for a minute whilst they waited on Sephy. Rory had often come into the Pack house despite not actually living there. Some Pack members lived there alongside the Alpha's family but not all. It was an optional choice. Rory's father had been asked to come and live there but he had respectfully denied the offer, opting instead to raise his family in his own home.
