Aurora lay there stiff as a metal rod on the comfiest bed she had probably ever slept in with the blankets clutched to her chest, her knuckles white as she tried fruitlessly to relax. There was no way she could relax knowing that she was about to share a bed with him. She had chosen the side that smelt least like him hoping that she had picked right and left his spot to him.
There was no way she was getting any sleep despite the exhaustion weighing on her mind from the intense day. She didn't really know how he was so calm announcing he was coming back here to sleep whilst she was sure she'd been having an aneurysm for the past hour.
She had showered, put her clothes away, changed and got into bed yet still no sign of the imposing Alpha. She wasn't sure if she was relieved or not. She had turned the lights off as the large windows allowed the moonlight to stream in, illuminating the room in a nice cool glow and was hoping to somehow fall asleep before he came. However, no matter how hard she jammed her eyes together every five seconds there was no way she was getting any sleep.
It wasn't even just the fact that her mate was going to be sleeping with her that allowed sleep to evade her, it was also just the general uncomfortableness that came with being in a unfamiliar room, house, pack, and bed. She missed her family and Sephy terribly and wondered if she would make friends here.
The door clicked open suddenly making Aurora flinch in her spot and jam her eyes closed. She smelt the sweet scent of her mate waft over her as she inhaled unconsciously wondering how awkward this was going to be on a scale of one to ten.
Her eyes suddenly flew open when she heard the metallic clink of a belt hitting the floor. He was getting changed right there. She couldn't see anything as her face was burrowed into the pillow but still.
She relaxed slightly as she heard the shower turn on and burrowed her nose further into the plush pillow. Harrys scent was soaked into the bed and she inhaled it deeply which automatically calmed her and her wolf completely. She was nearly dozing when she felt the bed dip beside her.
She blinked her eyes open sleepily to see Harry climbing into bed. The room was too dark to see much of anything apart from the faint outline of his figure as he slipped beneath the covers. She was simply too tired at this point and unwillingly her eyes slipped shut.

Aurora felt indescribably warm and comfortable as she felt herself awake, she was sure she'd never slept so wonderfully in her entire life and despite being in a brand new place she had managed to sleep extremely well. Peeling her eyes open slightly she flinched as awareness came to her position.
Her head was currently pressed into the crook of Harry's neck and her knees were pressed into his side against his hot skin. She jumped away suddenly flushing from head to toe in embarrassment. She nearly died as she realised he was awake. He was leaning back languidly wearing only a pair of boxers. His entire torso was on display and she gulped as she struggled to tear her eyes away from the muscular, and tattooed chest. The golden skin that was stretched across his well defined muscles inked with tattoos made her stomach tingle.
"Um, sorry about that." She whispered faintly from where she sat on her knees, her eyes firmly plastered down onto the bed sheets refusing to meet his eyes as her cheeks burned with heat. God she had clambered all over him in her sleep. "Uh, what time is it?" She asked hurriedly attempting weakly to change the subject away from their sleeping positions.
"Six AM." He answered his voice gravelly from sleep. She felt her stomach flutter at the sound as he began to stand up. She wondered why on Earth she had awoken so early.
