Alex's POV:
I step into the hot shower and stand there for a moment, allowing the warmth of the water to captivate me into thought. I open my eyes when I hear the shower curtain open and see Dean step in.
"Will you hand me the body wash?" It's not abnormal to see each other like this anymore. I'll be showering and he'll step in so we don't waste water and it's just a shower, no sexual jokes or anything. I hand him the Old Spice and point to the Coconut Shampoo and Conditioner.
"Hand me those." He hands it to me.
"I love the way that stuff smells." He says as I put the shampoo in my hair.
"You can use it Dean, don't worry it'll only get rid of your manly musk for like two days." I smile as he laughs and I rinse the shampoo out and move so he can wash off the body wash.
"I'll pass." I chuckle at this and grab his shoulders pulling him back to me so I can stand on my tippy toes to kiss his cheek.
"Good morning." I smile and he turns to face me kissing my lips gently.
"Morning, beautiful." His green eyes stare into mine for a moment before pointing behind me. "My shampoo and conditioner?" I turn and hand him his items and put my conditioner in, leaving it in for a minute.
"Are we going anywhere today?" I ask as I move him aside to rinse my hair.
"Yeah, I wanna surprise you though." He smacks my ass before I get out of the shower and when I look at him he wears a prideful smirk.
"You're an asshat." I laugh and wrap the towel around me.
"Since 1979." He answers and I stick my tongue out at him, leaving to get ready. I blow dry my hair and get dressed into something cute and comfortable. I do semi-neutral makeup and fix my hair into something casual.Dean steps out of the shower and comes out with a towel wrapped around him.
"God, you look so beautiful." He smiles in awe at me. "Well, uh, I'm gonna get dressed and then we can get going." I nod shyly at him. I still get bashful around him at times. It always depends on my mood.
--Later--
"A bar!" I guess and Dean sighs shooting me a raised brow.
"It's a surprise, I'm not going to tell you." He sighs "Also, you're pregnant. I wouldn't take you to a bar."
"Dee, if you're taking me to some sort of puppy farm I will love you beyond death." He laughs and keeps his eyes on the road.
"I don't like animals and you know that." I shrug.
"Hey, any guess is better than nothing." He sighs and pulls into an empty field. A variety of white and purple flowers along with dandelions filled the place. My heart lightens as I recognize the place.
"Dean, this is the place that-" he cuts me off.
"I told you I love you and I meant it." He gets out of the car and opens my door, letting me out. I stretch and sit on the cliff, allowing my feet to dangle. He follows and sits next to me. "How did it go down again?" I ask seeing if he remembered.
"It was two days after your graduation and I had promised you I'd take you on a hunt and so I stole dad's car, took my girl on a simple case out in North Carolina, and after she did an amazing job I took her here to see the view of the beach from above. The whole time I could only think about how beautiful you are and how, for whatever reason, you enjoyed being around me. I didn't even mean to tell you, honestly, it slipped my lips and I decided to roll with it. Truth be told I was terrified." I laugh and look at him, the light hitting his eyes causing the gold specks in the green to shine.
"Well, you made me wait like 3 years to actually date me." He nods and looks down.
"Yeah, well, I'm through with making you wait." He answers and shifts his position so he's on one knee.. I stand up shocked by the action and he smiles up at me nervously. "Alexandria Rose, I love you more than anything in the world and you know that. You've been there for me before I even realized it. We crashed parties, hunted together, fought with each other. I want you. I want all of you: your beautiful soul, heart, and body. I want you because you make me a better person and with you I feel loved. I'm beyond happy and more than nervous that we're starting a family together. Sweetheart, will you marry me?" I smile at him and feel a tear run down my cheek. I get down on my knees so I'm level with him.
"I thought you'd never ask." I smile and he sighs in relief and kisses me, sliding the ring onto my finger in the process. We pull away and he wraps an arm around me.
"Remember when we first tried weed together?" He asks and I laugh really hard.
"God, I was so dizzy it was not fun at all."
"I wanted to puke." He laughs. "I haven't tried to do it since."
"Remember when we were younger and you always said you wanted to move to Texas?" I ask and he looks over at me and nods.
"Yeah, I remember that."
"Wanna look for a home down there?" His eyes light up and he nods.
"I would love that, but what about Sam?" I place a hand om his cheek and he leans into the touch.
"Maybe they would like to move in the same town? Possibly really close." He looks at me, eyes searching mine before he places both his hands on either side of my face and kisses me passionately.
"I think that would be cool. Hey, remember that time when we had a picnic in a field?" I cock my brow and shake my head.
"That has never happened." I answer and he gets up grabbing a cooler from his car.
"Oh, well it is now." He smiles at me and I help him set it up. God, what are we going to do when it comes to hunting? Hunters can't quit, especially when all the monsters know your name and hate you..
