A smile made its way to my face as I walked up to my locker. The group of jocks weren't leaning on my locker anymore, but they were on the other side of the hall.

Mental Note: Thank Justin.

Right as I put my books inside of my locker, many dings erupted from the hallway. My head automatically turns back to see the boys smirking and patting each other. It's probably just a stupid boy thing. I thought as I rolled my eyes and turned back to my locker.

It wasn't until third period that I found out why everyone was whispering. That damn picture. And it was all because of Justin Foley.

I couldn't believe to imagine how miserable the poor girl was. This one picture that floated around the high school faster in a blink of an eye. And to even believe that I was going to thank that guy.

At lunch time, that is all anyone talked about. Every table was whispering and staring at that one picture.

That's when she walked the room. Hannah. Everyone stared at her, whispering horrible names. She looked down at her tray as she walked to a table with a few girls, but those girls stood up and walked away.

I looked around to my group of friends,"I say we go."

Ace looked up from her tray of food with a raised eyebrow,"Go where?"

"To sit with Hannah." I shrugged as if it was obvious.

Madeline and Ace looked over at the new sophomore seated by herself. "I agree." Madeline smiled widely.

We all grabbed our things before walking over to where Hannah sat and plopped down on the bench. Hannah's head slowly lifted up to look at all of us.

"Hi, I'm Madeline." My friend seated next to me smiled genuinely at her.

"Hannah." She responded by nodding firmly.

"Hey, I'm Brianna and that next to you is Ace." I smiled widely at her while I introduced us.

Hannah gave up on being quiet and looked up at all of us,"Nice to meet you." Her expression mirrored mine as we all talked together.

By the end of that lunch, we all exchanged numbers with her and we agreed on hanging out at lunch the next day as well. We must have been one of the few friends Hannah had. That made me feel great, like we changed a life by just being us.

The rest of the day went pretty fast, all the classes were boring but I had friends in every class. Now the bell rang and everyone rushed to get home. I had cheer practice today so I couldn't go home yet.

"So you excited for cheer?" Madeline's familiar voice sounded from next to me.

I smiled widely as I shoved things into my locker,"Yes! It's going to be crazy fun."

Madeline chuckled at my excitement,"Well good luck. I have to go help mom on some dinner thing she has going on sooo..bye!" She smiled and walked away through the school doors.

Once I was changed into my cheer outfit, I went into the gym with all the other girls. Where a very enthusiastic Jessica Davis spotted me. "You excited for this? I heard that today we're practicing on the line up for the rally this Friday."

"Line up for the rally?" I asked confused.

"Yeah we're escorting the jocks out to the court during the rally." Jessica rolled her eyes at the word 'jocks'.
