Madeline knocked in her door, dressed in a knee-length maroon dress. A few seconds later, the door was opened to reveal a pouty-faced Brianna.

"What are you doing?"  Her best friend gave her a look with furrowed eyebrows.

"I have nothing to wear. Might as well just stay home." The Raven haired girl let go of the door before flopping onto the couch a few steps into the house.

Her feet landed in the soft padded house muttering,"No.no.no." Maddy helped her friend up before closing the front door. "You are going to go upstairs and do your make up. I am going to bring food and look for something that you can wear."

Brianna groaned while she walked up her stairs lurching her body as she did. Right as Madeline heard the restroom door close, her phone was pulled out.

"She's occupied."

The blue eyed boy smirked softly hearing those words thinking that he would finally win her over.

"You guys know what to do, right?" He went up to a group of people making sure everything was perfect.

Everything was going to go well, he knew it. Because if it didn't, then she would still know his true intentions.

"Annnnd...turn around!" Madeline exclaimed turning the shorter girl towards the human sized mirror.

She wore a silver dress with flowed longer from the back than the front. In the light, it sparkled brightly. Her make-up was light, but highlighted the key features of her face.

"W-"

"Wow! I know! You look gorgeous." Her best friend said excitedly. "I bet you that I have the best date at that quince."

"Why didn't you take Jeff again?" She asked curiously, glancing at her through the mirror.

Madeline shrugged,"He had another family party to go to. Plus, why would I pass the opportunity to hang out with my favorite girl?"

A soft glare was shot towards her,"Shut up. Clay is your favorite." Her lips curled into a smile as they laughed softly.

Maddy grabbed her hand dragging her down the stairs,"Come on. Come on. We're going to be late and we're not going to get any food!"

Brianna quickly shuffled her way out of the house to her friend's mom's car. Getting into the passenger seat, she smiled. "There's going to be cake?"

"Now, what would a quince be without cake?" Her best friend turned to with a look of disbelief on her face.

They both laughed before Madeline turned on the car. No tension was held inside the car, yet she knew something the other didn't. Brianna had no idea what she was getting in to when her best friend parked right by the edge of the park.

Her brown eyes scanned around,"you aren't going to kill me right?"

"No...not yet." Madeline turned to her with a wide smirk, an eruption of laughter filled the car. She took Bri's hand,"Let's get out if here. I wanna show you something."
