Chapter 13

JACOB'S P.O.V

My God. Katie was amazing. I was truly the luckiest guy on earth to have her. When we did it, I thought I was going to howl then and there. It was AMAZING. I love her so much. I hope that she did too.

KATIE'S P.O.V

I woke up to the sound of my clock beeping. UGHH. I forgot to turn it off after I dropped out of school. I flop over and use my powers to make it shut up. I smiled. I loved having powers, everything was so much easier. It was like my wish of having the force (I'm a geek) had come true, and I loved it. I noticed that Jake was gone. I trudged to the kitchen, still in his shirt. I picked up the note on the counter.

On patrol. I'll see you at the bonfire. Love you!

I smiled. He was so sweet and perfect. I sighed happily. My life felt so perfect. I looked at the clock and gasped. 3PM?? How long was I asleep for?? I laugh, classic Katie. I was probably tired from the exercise yesterday... I eat some leftover pizza and scroll through social media. When 5pm rolls around, I decide to get ready. I pull on a tank top and some leggings. I know it'll get cold, so I put on Jake's sweatshirt. It's very oversized, but I love it. I pull on my flip flops because I'm at the beach and head out.

When I arrive at the beach I'm greeted by the pack. "KATIE!" they all yell, rushing to hug me. I smile. Embry and Seth throw me into the air and I laugh. I get hugs from all around. I hadn't seen the pack in a while, and I missed them. "I missed you guys!" I yell. They all nod and smile. Jared picks me up and throws me onto his back. I get into a piggyback position and he begins to run around. I laugh. "Hey!" Jacob yells from the side. I smile and jump off and into Jacob's arm (I can jump really far because I have my powers). "Hands off my girl." Jacob mocks growls. I laugh and Jared pretends to be scared. "We have an hour before the fire starts. Wanna go for a walk?" Jake asks. I nod and we begin to walk down the beach. There are a few people around, but I don't mind. "Damn girl! You looking fine!" someone says. I whip around to see a guy sitting in his car with some other guys. I roll my eyes. Jacob growls. "Let me get your number, sweetie." he says. I fake smile. "Don't worry. I got this." I whisper to Jacob. He nods, but his fists are clenched. I walk up to the car and lean on the window frame. I reach into the guys mind. Eric. Has a third nipple. Afraid of the number four and .. giraffes?? (A/N AHAHAH DIVERGENT LOVERS UNITE) "Hi Eric. You know, I should give you my doctor's number instead of mine. Maybe he can help you with your third nipple." I say. Eric looks shocked, and his goons look disgusted. "Here's his number. 444-444-444. He's really tall. Like a giraffe. His office is themed like a giraffe." I whisper the last part, and Eric jumps. I laugh and walk back to Jake. Eric speeds off, and I smile in achievement. "Well, at least I know you know what to do when I'm not there to protect you." Jake says and I chuckle. "All these guys drooling over you. Imma have to make you wear a shirt that says 'has a boyfriend' at all times." he says. I laugh harder and he picks me up bridal style. "Let's head back. I wanna catch up with the guys." I say. He nods. "Race ya!" I scream. I leap up in a burst of purple flame. No one is around, thank God. I make it to the group well before Jacob does, and I laugh. "Hey guys!" I smirk. "What's new?" I ask. Seth groans and Quil laughs. "We saw some LOVELY images while Paul was patrolling. He let his imagination slip for just a bit, and we saw some stuff." he explains. I cringe and pretend to throw up. They all laugh. "Oh my gosh my brother isn't a virgin anymore." I gag. "Are you?" Embry asks. I laugh. "So you're not?" Jared asks, smirking. "That's for me to know, and for you to find out." I tease. They all mock gasp. "Katie! I thought you were an innocent little child!" Jared gasps. I laugh. Jacob finally arrives, out of breath. "How-do-you-get-here-so-fast." he says. I laugh. "I can fly. Remember?" I say. He smiles. "Dang Jacob, Paul is going to KILL YOU." Embry says. "Why would I do that?" someone asks. We all turn around and see Paul standing with his arms crossed. "Where's Rachel?" I ask. His face turns a little red. "She couldn't make it." he stutters. "Now don't change the subject. Why would I kill Jacob?" he snarls. I laugh. "Oh do tell him Jacob." Seth says. I snigger. "Well-you see- like- umm-" Jacob nervously stutters. I laugh. Paul tackles Jacob to the ground. "What did you do to my sister???" he yells. "Okay. Okay! Jeez, Paul! I'll tell you!" I yell pulling Paul up. He smiles and jumps up. He drags me to where the guys won't be able to hear me. "Did he hurt you?" He asks. I groan. "Of course not! Paul you're only like 5 minutes older than me. Don't be so overprotective." I say. He rolls his eyes. "Jacob and I... Did... it." I whisper. Paul freezes. I create a forcefield around us so he won't kill Jake. "HE DID WHAT???" He screams. "He didn't hurt me. Or force me." I explain. Paul growls. "So you lost your... your... your thing?" he asks timidly. I nod. "So did you." I tease. He goes red. "What?? How did you know??" he yells. Then he realises his mistake and shrinks back. "I mean- I umm-"he stutters. I laugh. "You let some stuff slip during patrol. Let's just say that poor Seth is traumatised." I explain. He turns even more red. I look over and see Seth cringing. I will all my energy into my power and look into his mind. I see Paul on top of Rachel, Rachel is screaming. Screaming in pleasure...??? Their hands are clutches together, but one of Rachel's hand is clutching Paul's hair. And he is moaning. I scream. "EWEWEWEWEWEWEWEWEWEWEE!!" Paul looks disturbed. "What?" he asks. "DID YOU HAVE TO LET THAT SPECIFIC CLIP SLIP??? EWWW PAUL YOU'RE DISGUSTING!! I WILL NEVER LOOK AT YOU THE SAME AGAIN!!!" I scream. He smiles sheepishly. "Sorry. She's just so perfect, Katie. I love her so much." he gushes. I laugh. "My brother is in LOOOOOVE." I tease. "You should say! You have no idea how much Jacob talks about you. Jeezus, it's so annoying sometimes. I've learned more about you from him than I have from you." Paul groans. I laugh and we walk back to the group. Jacob looks extremely concerned, and Embry looks amused. I nod at Jacob, who relaxes a little. "PAUL!" I turn to see Rachel running down the beach. She jumps into his arms and wraps her arms around his waist. I see the image of them flash through my head again. "OHMYGOSH EWWWW." I cringe and jump into Jacob's arms. "What?" He asks. I shake my head. "I saw some disgusting images from Seth's mind, and now both of us are traumatised." I explain. He laughs. "How are you not disgusted?" I ask. He shrugs. "As long as I don't see it I'll be good." he says. I tap his nose lightly. "I'll make sure to tell the guys to replay it when you're patrolling." I tease. He cringes and I laugh. He leans down and kisses me lightly. I put my hands in his hair and deepen it. But of course, we are interrupted by someone. "Jake!" Someone yells. I recognise the voice. It's a shrill yet too deep and monotone voice. I groan. Bella.
