How come no one can see him? My Gwaine… he is standing right there. Two feet away from my family.
I think that I going crazy. That must be it. The fact that I miss him and that Stella mentioned something that I want, this made me see him.
He calls me with his finger to him but I ignored him and when I blinked he was gone. I spent the time with my parents and the Doctor. Laughing at the Doctor made me forget a bit about Gwaine. Man, I swear this guy is such an epic goof. I was so happy to see my mom laughing so hard.
I remember the day they adopted me. It was a spring day, cloudy and if I am not mistaken at some point it started raining.
Flashback-voiceover
I was in my room playing with the one doll that a older girl that left the orphanage when she turned 18, bought me. She was the sweetest girl I met. I wish I could keep in touch with her. I haven’t seen her in ages. And she probably is now dead. I miss her. So I was playing with the doll and the governess – a sweet, old lady- came to tell us that someone is there to adopt a child. I got up, I arranged my clothes and hair and then I put my nicest smile on.
- They won’t adopt you. All they want are babies. Said Alfonsa, a mean girl who I ignored most of the time
- Hello. Said the beautiful ginger woman, smiling revealing dimples
- Hello. We all replied.
- Hi, there. What’s your name? She asked me. Me! Of all.
- I-I’m Clara.
- Nice to meet you, Clara. I’m Amy and this is my husband Rory.
- Hello. Nice to meet you too, miss Amy and mister Rory. I said while they smiled sweet at me.
I remember they talking to the other girls and they bought us toys. Many toys. It was a happy day for every one of us. But it turned out to be my happiest day.
Later that day, the governess called me in her office and there were both Amy and Rory.
- Clara. Spoke Amy while I nodded. Would you like to come home with us?
- Why are you crying? Asked Rory.
- I am so-sorry. Are you- um- sure? I babbled
- Of course! They both said. So?
- Can I give my toys to the other girls? I asked, that was my only question
They took me home, after a tearful good-bye to the girls and I promised to be friends forever. But I disappeared. I forgot to mention that back in 1940/1945 the newspaper declared my family lost in war. So basically I am dead. I should have been, maybe.
They welcomed me into their house and they forgot to mention that I have a sister. Or at least they wanted to tell me at the right time. But you know my sister- the right time for her isn’t always the right time for the rest of us-. It was in a morning, like 4, maybe 7 days after I got adopted and I was still shy around them, but at the same time I loved them more than anything. Ok. So I got up with sleepy eyes, trying to get ready for school and when I wanted to go to the bathroom I collided with her. I backed a few steps and I screamed, looking at her like a lamb looks at a wolf.
