The perfect dress

Chloe's POV

"Chloe! Over here!" Maddie and paige, my two bestest friends call me over. I run over and give them both a big hug. They are both 15 years old and I'm about to be 15 next week! I'm so exited! My mom is currently arranging a party for all my dance competition team to come to laser tag! But of course Nick and Brandon are invited.

I go out with nick and I have been for 6 months now! I love him but I'm starting to get a little bit concerned. Maddie used to go out with him before I did but they broke up because Maddie didn't want to spend any time with him. A few months later, I fell in love with him. Well, i had a crush on him for a while but I never told him. I'm concerned that Maddie is going to steal him off me because I can start to see her flirting with him and he's slowly falling for her. I keep trying to interrupt them when I can see them flirting but it's starting to get out of hand. Maddie knows I know but she looks at me as if to say she knows I'll be yesterday's history.

Back to the story, I'm 15 next week so Maddie and Paige are helping me look for an outfit after school. By this time it is home time so I go to my locker, pick up my bag and head out the school gates. This is where I'm meeting them to catch a bus to the shopping mall. I'm so exited!

"Are you ready to go?" Paige exclaims cheerfully. "Of course!" We all laugh, get our bus fairs out and hop on the bus. After about ten minutes, the bus pulls up to our stop. Our purses are loaded with cash, and ready to hit the shops! We look from store to store searching for the perfect outfit. Paige bought some new sunglasses with a silver rim and a new purple tank top that said on the side 'perfect'. Maddie bought a new necklace that has snoopy on it and a new red leotard for dance. So far, I've bought a pair of 2 inch heels that are a glossy red and some earrings that look like red buttons. I've still got to find either a skirt and top or dress!

After a while, we were about to give up searching (because both of them have already bought their outfits) but then we went into a shop called quiz. It's a shop mostly of prom dresses but there was some normal clothes too. We all tried on different dresses for the sake of it but I had one normal dress that was my last chance to find an outfit. It went half way down my shoulders, and half way down my thighs. The sleeves also went quarter of the way up my full arm. On the top was black lace in a sort of flower pattern. It was perfect.

"Woah, you need to get that dress!" Maddie said as they both looked astonishingly at me in this perfect dress. So I did. I went home so happy with my belongings and I hung it up in the wardrobe admiring the wonderful dress I had just bought.
