Chloe's POV

"What were you thinking! Now you're dead! Forever! You've just wasted you life over a high school crush!" I stressed to him about how stupid he was. He just smiled at me and stared straight into my eyes. I was nearly in tears. I just couldn't get over the fact that he would do something like that for me! Then if this situation couldn't get any worse, the trouble causer decided to show her face.

"Look, there's nothing you can do now. We're stuck here for a while so we might aswell just get sorted out." I turn around, to Maddie just acting like we're going to the mall together. Like nothing happened.

"I was jealous of you. I think everyone knew that but just so you hear it from me. I've never really liked you because you've always had a connection with Nick that I didn't have. I would've literally died for that connection. You are pretty, with amazing long legs and everybody loves you. I know you wished for me to die. That's fine. I was thinking about suicide anyway. It was my last way to escape what I felt. Now we've got that out the way, can we just get along cause there really isn't no escaping?"

I guess she was right. Well she was right. We all made up and just...well...got on with after life really. Sometimes I went down back to earth as a ghost and just look at the pain I served to my family. I went to my funeral. I went to my after party. It was horrible. I just wanted to give everyone a big hug and tell them it would be alright when everyone In that room, knew it wouldn't be.

After a couple of months, Clara was starting to become happier again after some counselling and therapy. My parents put on a brave face for her but cried themselves to sleep.

Author's POV

You probably thought this was going to be a happy ending. No chance. They all learnt their lesson, but paid the price of death. Death by a wish. Now that they have come to turns with their mistakes, they all sit on the clouds and looking down at the lives they have destroyed all because of their selfishness. Let this be a lesson to everyone. Don't wish for something that you'll regret.
