Pidge?.....Pidge! Wake Up!
"Huh.......? W-wha....."
Someone was shouting at her....
She groaned and rubbed her eyes then slowly sat up, she stretched shortly before putting her helmet back on.
"H-hello.....? This is the....green.....paladin...of Voltron...." she grumbled.
"Pidge! Oh quiznak, I was so worried about you! Are you alright? You seem....never mind... let's get you back to the castle ok?" said Shiro.
"......alright, Shiro...."
And with that they headed back to the castle.
Lance, Hunk and Keith waited silently in the hangar, for Pidge, with Allura. The green lion landed gracefully near them and opened her mouth, Shiro had landed already and made his way over to them.
"Is Pidge okay?" Keith asked, looking at Allura.
"Yes Keith, she is alright. There is no need to worry!" Allura replied.
Shiro walked in and saw them standing by the lion.
"So.....are we going to get her or what?" He said, going into the lion. "Green wouldn't have just opened her mouth like this... she must have fallen asleep..."
As soon as they got to the pilot seat, it had turned out that he was right. Pidge had fallen asleep again....
Shiro carefully picked up the little girl and carried her to the living room, laying her down on the couch.
Keith walked up to her with a blanket and pillow. He lifted her head up slightly and placed the pillow underneath then proceeded to cover her with the blanket.
"What was she doing up there?" Lance whispered.
"Probably exploring the areas around us. We did travel past many planets and the Balmera earlier." Shiro answered.
"Well i'm glad there weren't any Galra ships anywhere, it would have been a disaster if she had been captured by them..." Allura sighed, "I'm going to get back to work with Coran, that serum needs to be completed quickly!".
Allura then left the room, leaving Shiro with four tiny paladins.
"Just so that we don't have anyone running off again, i'd like you all to behave. No running around without permission, no arguments, no going into the lions..."
His rules seemed to go on forever.....and ever...and ever..... a few hours had probably past....
"....and finally you shouldn't bother Allura and Coran. Understood?"
"Yes......Shiro....." the boys said in unison, groaning at him.
"Alright i'll get you lot something to eat." he said leaving the room and heading towards the kitchen.
Lance sighed and slouched onto the couch.
Hunk followed shortly after.
Keith sat down next to Pidge and looked at her snuggling in her blanket.
She looked so.....peaceful.
He tried not to blush at the adorable girl.
He noticed that her head was starting to fall off, and he did what was necessary...
Careful...careful...
He gently pushed her head to the side so it wasn't falling off the couch anymore.
"Did you guys notice the way Shiro was talking?" Hunk randomly asked.
"Pfft yeah, he sounded like a dad. He has become the father of this group" said Lance chuckling to himself.
"Dad....huh, Does that mean we are technically a space family?" Keith mumbled.
"Hmmmm, Yeah! I guess so. That means you, Hunk and I are brothers and Pidge is the little sister!" Lance cheered.
I'm a big brother......huh.... never thought I would be in that position.
Shiro called them for lunch a few minutes later.
Keith decided to wake up Pidge without disrupting her too much. He carried her on his back and sat her down at the table.
I like being a brother.....it feels great!
Keith smiled as he ate his food.
Shiro didn't notice but there was a smile on his face too as he looked at them enjoying the space cuisine from a distance.
Am I starting to become a father figure towards these kids?
