"Um...sure, I guess" you say as you shrug your left shoulder. "Great!" Lauren said, her voice full of happiness. She signals you to go over to the other side of the car. You wait for her to say when she was ready for you to open the door." Ya know, it's open...right?" "....oh" you say awkwardly. You opened the car door and step into it, leaning forward to make sure you get comfortable. As you sit down, you shuffle a bit to get used to the seat. It was kinda small but you didn't mind.
You looked to your left as Lauren was sitting down. She put the car key into the (idk what they're called) key thingy and the engine roared. You jumped a little in your seat, not expecting it to be so loud. Lauren giggled at your action. you put a hand behind your head as a faint red color coated your cheeks. " Way to make a first impression" you said in your mind. " Is your seatbelt on?" Lauren asked looking at you. You looked over at her as your eyes locked together. A slight smile grew onto her face as she looked down to the gas petal. She put the car in drive and gently Put her foot on the petal. The car started to move and slowly got faster before she came to the exit.
" Left or right?" She asked. " Uh..right" you answered. She looked both ways before driving right. "So, how old are you?" She asked breaking the awkward silence between the two of you. " I'm 26 (if you're not 26 oh well) ...you?" " 24, thanks for asking" she giggled as she darted her head toward you. Her blueish hazel eyes looking at you. You smiled and you both started to laugh. " So what's your favorite band?" She asked looking back at the road. " I like (Y/F/B)" you answered smiling stupidly. " Oh that's cool. I've heard a couple of their songs, they're pretty good, but my band will always be Panic!At The Disco." She said turning the radio on.
Once you were at a red light, she handed you her phone and said "see that wire there?" She pointed to a light gray wire that was by your foot, you nodded. " Can you plug that into my phone and hook it to the radio?" She said looking at you. you looked at her and her eyes looks a little flirty. You swallowed and shook your head yes and did what you were told.
