You grabbed her phone slowly, you accidentally clicked the power button and her screen lit up. You looked at the phone and blushed as it was a picture of her and another girl." Ciara" Lauren said, startling you a bit. " Who?" You asked. A bit confused." remember when I told you I was on the phone with my best friend? Thats her, Ciara". "Oh" you said chucking, nodding your head as you remembered.
Music played as you hooked the wire into the phone. Panic! At the disco's she had the world started to play. You looked at Lauren for a while till she looked back at you. You both started to laugh at the fact that you were talking about the band not too long ago. You looked out of your window as you started to relax as you were getting more comfortable in the moment. The car started to slowly stop as you came to a red light. You looked over at Lauren and decided to do something you thought would be funny.
You slowly Reached for the phone, trying not to attract Lauren's attention. Once your hand touched the phone you stopped as you slowly looked over to her. She was quietly singing along to the song. Her eyes were closed. You started to think about her. Her smile, her hair, her eyes, her voice, it was all perfect to you. The fact that she could sing was just a bonus! How could anyone NOT like her!?!
She looked at you,still kind of singing. When she saw the way you were looking at her, she stopped. The moment was interrupted by a loud BEEP! you both darted you heads backward towards the line of cars behind you. You looked over to your window and someone knocked on the window....loudly.
" WHAT THE HELL?!? YOU GOT US ALL WAITIN OUT HERE!!! MOVE IT" sorry sir, you and Lauren both said in sync. He walked back to his car And she started to drive again. You motioned for a brown house on the left side of the street.
She pulled into the driveway. You opened the door and stopped for a minute. " Do you...maybe wanna come in?" You asked nervously. " Sure." Lauren responded. You both stepped out of the car and walked up to the porch. You got your keys out of your coat pocket. You put the key into the lock and twisted it and the door opened. You stepped in. Lauren was digging in her purse, fully unaware that the door was open. Your dog Miller jumped onto you making you fall on your back. " Miller!" You laughed, While they licked your face.
Lauren quickly looked up from her purse and gave her full attention to you. "Umm..." She said awkwardly, not knowing what to do. She stood there silently. You got up and introduced her to the dog. " Lauren, this is my family dog, and my best friend, Miller." You said." Well, hi there Miller!" Lauren said kneeling down to pet the dog. " She's been in the family since I was little." You said petting her head. She licked Laurens face and she laughed. " So, you gonna show me around?" She asked expecting an answer quickly." Oh!, Yeah. Sure" you said turning around.
You walked towards the kitchen." Well obviously, this is the kitchen, then over here's the dinning room. Over there is the back door, that's the living room, storage room and.." you said stopping to walk up the stairs. Lauren followed behind. You opened the door to your bed room. You walked into the surprisingly clean room
" this is my bedroom" you sat down on the bed by a window in the corner of your room. You let Lauren explore the room a little bit to get the feel of things. By the door was a shelf with about 4 or 5 trophies on it. Underneath it was a desk with papers scattered everywhere. Next to the desk was a dresser with some pictures of family members and a couple books on the top of it. There was a closet on the other side of the room. There was a mirror on the backside of the door.
Lauren looked at the mirror for a second then tired to you." You wanna do anything?" She asked. " We could take Miller on a walk?" You suggested. Lauren nodded smiling. You called miller into the room and she jumped onto the bed. Lauren laughed and you looked at her blushing.
