"Calum, make me a sandwich?" Michael asks, he's sprawled out over the entire couch with one arm pretty much on the floor and his other rests in an empty bowl which was once filled with popcorn. His legs are on Calum's lap, who hasn't looked up from his phone since the movie started.
"Can't you ask Luke? Besides, I can't get up 'cause your legs prevent me from doing so." Calum replies, not looking up from his phone once. Michael sighs and looks at Luke who, thanks to Michael himself, had to sit on the floor for the last two hours. Luke immediatly shakes his head.
"I'm not going to make you a sandwich Michael. By the way, how are you still hungry? You litterally ate the whole bowl of popcorn by yourself, we didn't get any." Michael just shrugs and replies.
"I'm a growing boy, Luke. I need to be fed otherwise I'll die. And do you really want that? I mean our band wouldn't really take off 'cause the 'handsome one' would be missing. Do you really want to risk, not only your carreer, but also Calum's? What would you say to the fans and interviewers when they-" Luke cuts Michael's rant off.
"Fine, we'll go to macca's . Calum, you wanna come with?" Luke asks and Calum jumps up from his seat, causing Michael to fall off the couch.
"Calum, what the fuck. Are you really that hungry? You could've ju-" Once again Michael's cut off, this time by Calum.
"Shut up, Michael! You're not gonna believe this!" The two other boys just look at him with bored looks on their faces. Luke asks him what the 'big' news is, and Calum replies enthousiastically.
"Remember that guy I met at the mall a couple of weeks ago? Yeah, well he knows we're a band and he managed to get us a gig!" Luke and Michael too jump out of their seats, the exitement now clear on their faces.
"Well, where are we going to perform? And when?" Luke asks happily, Michael nodds along eagerly.
"It's in this cafe he works at, and it's kind of this evening." Calum answers, a big smile still etched on his face. Michael speaks up,
"So, macca's and then our first proper gig?" The two other boys nod and they grab their guitars before heading out.

Luke is sitting in a corner of the room, somewhere backstage at the cafe, and pulling his hair. He's rocking back and forth slightly, his whole body tense. He's picturing the worst scenario's of what could all go wrong.
"Luke, are you alright mate?" Calum asks, noticing how quiet the boy has been the last fifteen minutes. Luke shakes his head frantically.
"What if I fuck up, Calum? What am I even doing here? I can't sing, you guys would be much better off without me" Calum's eyes widen and he pulls luke in for a hug, the latter begins to cry. Luke's shaking and trembling and Calum pulls him onto his lap. He cuddles and shushes him.
"Luke, your voice is amazing and your guitar skills are just as good! You wont fuck up andif you will we will be there and you'll be totally fine. So what else is going on, because this can't be the only reason you're crying." Luke shakes head, his crying has died down. Only the occasional sniff or whimper is heard from him.
"I can't tell you Calum you'll hate me." Luke whispers, his voice so small and he looks so vulnerable. Calum shakes his head and sighs.
"Luke, I've known you since forever. Nothing could make me hate you. I'm your best friend, you need to tell me." Calum's hands comb through Luke's hair, making it stick up in a quiff again. They've always been really close so this isn't anything weird. Luke leans further into Calum's touch and relaxes a bit. Calum keeps quiet, knowing Luke will eventually tell him what is happening.
"Calum?" Luke asks his voice a bit raw from not using and crying. Calum hums, signaling to continue. "I- I think I'm gay." Calum stays quiet after that but continues to play with Luke's hair.
"Why would you think I'd hate you? I don't mind if you're gay." At those words Luke's eyes snap open and he lift his head of Calum's shoulder.
"Are you really okay with me being gay? Don't you think it's weird?" Luke questions, his head slightly tilted to the left.
"Of course I'm okay with it, Luke. I get it, you like dick. I guess we'll have to find you a boyfriend then." Luke hits him lightly, but isn't able to keep the giant grin off his face.
"Don't be a dick, and don't you dare try setting me up with every boy you see." Calum just laughs and Luke joins in. That moment Michael walks, he raises his eyebrows at the sight. Luke is still on Calum's lap and they're sitting on the ground in the corner of the room. Luke's smile gets bigger and he kisses Calum's cheek before jumping up. Calum groans and stand up to go sit on the couch.
"Luke, if you're gonna continue doing that, I'm definatly going to find you a boyfriend." The moment Calum's said it, he freezes. He gives an apologetic look to Luke, who is glaring at him. Michael looks between the two af them and shrugs. He jump in between them on the couch and starts watching some tv-show. Luke stops glaring at Calum and looksat Micheal with desbelief. Michael notices the stare and turns to Luke.
"Is there something on my face, Luke?" Michael asks with a smirk. Luke just shakes his head.
"Uhm... Michael? Did you hear Calum?" Luke asks carefully scared of how Michael may react.
"Of course I heard Calum, you're gay. We could've seen this coming, in the years that I've known you, you never had a girlfriend. So congrats! Who's the lucky guy?" Luke pushes Michael which causes him to fall off the couch. Calum laughs and Luke shoots him a look.
"I'm not getting married, you idiot. I don't have a boyfriend, and probably never will." He mutters the last part but Calum caught it. He shakes his head.
"Of course you'll get a boyfriend, who wouldn't want you?" Luke smiles a genuine smile and hugs Calum. Michael collapses on them, creating an ultimate group hug. Luke is smiling wide, happy his friends accept him.
"So, are you ready to be totally amazing on that stage now?" Calum asks and Luke nods and let's out a laugh. They grab their guitars and walk to the little stage.

The boys have played two songs and the audience don't seem to hate them. Luke sighs in relief, he didn't mess up and the next song is on of his favourites. They start to play 'Beside you' and Luke get's lost in the music.

Ashton has been walking for an hour through the streets of Sydney when he stumbles upon a nice looking cafe. Deciding it wouldn't hurt anybody, he goes inside. He could use a drink anyways. He goes to the bar and orders a coke. The cafe isn't to small but not really that big either. It's nice and there are people sitting 'round tables talking to eachother, catching up and having a laugh. There's music playingand Ashton notices it's live. He can't quite see who are playing. Before he can think about it too much, a coke is placed on the bar. Ashton hands the boy some cash and thanks him. He decides to get a closer look on the band that is playing. With the coke in his hand he makes his way through the crowd. He spots a good place to stand, now he can properly see them. Ashton can now see the three boys that are on stage. Two boys play guitar and the other boy has his guitar on his lap but doesn't play. The boy has blonde hair and piercing blue eyes, Ashton finds himself staring at the blonde haired boy. He quickley snaps out of his trance when he hears a voice beside him.
"They're pretty good, aren't they?" A boy about his age breaks his trance. Ashton looks to his left. A boy with brown hair up in a quiff and some sort of drink in his hand is looking at him, Ashton nods and responds.
"They're amazing. Hi, I'm Ashton. I just moved here, thought I'd explore the city."
"Sorry, I totally forgot tp introduce myself. I'm Aiden and I'm not new here. I can give you a tour of the city if you want?' The boy, now known as Aiden, suggest. Ashton replies:
"Yeah, that sounds nice. Not now though, I'd like to listen to them for a little longer. Do you know what they're called?" Aiden smiles and points at one of the boys.
"That one's named Calum, I'm pretty good friends with him. Their band is called five seconds of summer, don't ask. The other one with the guitar is Michael." He points at a boy with pink hair. "And then there's Luke, he's the lead singer but is also pretty good with his hands." Ashton laughs at the innuendo and then focuses on Luke again. He's singing with so much pasion and Ashton wonders how it is possible for a voice to sound this good. Ashton feels his phone vibrate in his pocket so he gets it out. It's a text from his mother asking where the hell he is. Checking the time, Ashton's eyes widen comically and he rushes an apology out to Aiden. He just waves him off and pushes him towords the exit. Ashton casts a final look over his shoulder and sees Luke packing up his guitar ready to start the next song. And Ashton curses his mother for texting him.
