so quick update, I have just discovered that I am a cat person. who has a dog. what to do?
Well dogs often need a lot of attention, and being a fangirl, I stay up in my room most of the time. when it needs to go out, it's like a pure agonising 20 minute walk outside, even if it is the only exercise I get.
the responsibility of having a dog does interfere with being a fangirl, but maybe your dogs are trained, where mine is just over a year old and she loves to jump.
to say I know how to handle this, well that's a lie. But I can say that if you discover you're a cat person after you get a dog, look after the dog like it is a cat. If possible, cuddle with it. Pick it up like it's a cat, if possible. but still in general, take care of it. eventually you can get a cat, just after like 10 years of dog. :)
