Just Not Over Yet

Corey's POV

That's when I hear a voice,"What's the one thing Grojband never does?"It's my voice,and I rember that time.When Cherry Grapestain kept ignoring us.

"Give up?"

"Surrender?"

"Back down?"

"No Grojband never quits!"

Then why do I want to so badly now?Why do I just want to end it?Then I see something Laney moved.However,she stayed on the ground.Whatever,she's doing I gotta distract Chuck for a little longer.When he gets close enough.

"Chuck,"I say,"I'm not the only oblivious person here."

"What?"Chuck says.

Then Laney shot Chuck where it hurts.

"Ohh,someone's not having kids!"I yell.

"Who'd have kids with him anyways?!"Laney asks.

"Jeez you couldn't let me have it,huh?"I say.

"Nope,"Laney says.

"Can you get me out of here?!"I ask

"Oh,yeah sure,"Laney says.

She shots the button and the cage lifts up.I run over to her and hug her never to let go again.

"Aww that's touching,"I hear Chuck say.

"Don't move!"Laney yells aming the lazer at him.

"You wouldn't dare do it,"Chuck says.

"Why wouldn't I?"Laney yells.

"Well,that lazer on your arm saps into your weak life force,"Chuck says.

Weaklife force,what does he mean?

"What do you mean Chuck?"I ask.

"If she shoots,I wouldn't only die,but she'd be gone too,"Chuck says.

"You're lying!"Laney yells.

"Look how weak you 2 are,one not armed,and the other is about to waist her life,"Chuck says.

"Shut up!All you've done is lie!"I yell.

"Oh,don't believe me,then let her die,"Chuck says.

"I'm finishing this,"Laney says.

Then I stop to think.He can be telling the truth,and he's just using reverse phycology on us.It's highly possible.

"Wait Laney don-"I say.

She shoots Chuck in the chest and falls back due to impact.I run over to her and keep my eye on Chuck.

"You think you could rid of me that easily?"Chuck says.

"...kinda?"is all I manage to say.

Then I hear a loud thud on the door.

"Corey what the hell are you doing?!"I hear Kin yell.

Then the door busted open.

"Oh look guests,"Chuck says.

"Jeez,can you stop with the lame jokes?"I say.

"Why didn't you kill him?!"Kin yells at me.

"...I just needed to know something,"I say.

"You got her?"Kin asks me.

I look down at Laney,she's still unconcious.Idon't.my mind says.She's going to slip away.

"The answer to that is no,isn't it?"Chuck laughs.

The anger bubbles deeper inside of me.I can't forget what he've done to me,my friends ,and this town.He tourtured us,with a big grin.

"Shut up,"I mutter.

"What was that?"Chuck says.

"Corey?Are you okay?"Kon asks.I ignore him.

"I said Shut up Chuck,shut your damn lies,"I say louder.

"Oh,am I poking the little bear?"Chuck says.

I'm about to snap in 3...2...1.

"Kin,give me your gun,"I say.

"What?"Kin says.

"Give me your gun!"I say.

"Umm... here,"Kin says.

I take the gun and aim it for Chuck.We came here to kill him.And I will kill him.I aim for his head,I want to make sure he stays dead.

"Ah,ah,ah,no guns,"he says as he snaps his fingers.

The gun suddenly disappears.

"What the heck?"I say.

"Now if you want to kill me you'll have to try something else,"Chuck says.

I have nothing else.How the heck does a gun disapear like that?!

"How did you do that?!"Kin asks.

"That's a secret,"Chucks says.

"Damn it!"I hear Kin mutter.

"The only way to beat me is to unleash the 4,"Chuck says,"but it looks like the 4 can't happen.frowny face."

I look back to Laney,she's still out cold.It makes me worried.

"Well catch you on the flip side!"Chuck said as a smoke bomb appeared.

Smoke filled the room,the smoke was so thick you couldn't see through it.

"Where...are you guys?"I coughed.

"Over...here!"I hear Kon's voice yell from the east side of me.

I continue walking and coughing through the blinding fog.The smoke clears and I can see them.I look around for Laney,she's still here,but still unconcious.What's going on?I take another look around,and Chuck managed to escape again.Unleash the 4 is all that I recall him say.I know what we need to do,but with Laney in this condition we can't advance.I just hope she's alright,and that the life force things was just another one of Chuck's lies.However,it may not be...I rejoin with Kin and Kon.

"What did he mean by unleash the 4?"Kon asks.

"Ugh,he ment the wepons unleash the 4 wepons of Pililoha,duh!"Kin says.

"Hey,lay off him,we aren't all geniuses here!"I say.

"So what do we tell the people?"Kin asks.

"Lie,we can't risk anymore people now,this is our fight not theirs,"I say.

"So what do we exactlly say?"Kon asks.

"Say we killed Chuck,and burned him down,so they won't look for the body,this event will fade away in days from now,"I say.

"Oh,alright,"Kon says,"So what do we do next?"

"Ask the Gods,what else?"Kin says.

"Damn it!I don't wanna see you know who!"I yelled.

"Come,on Corey,just ignore Aron,focus on the others,"Kin says.

"Easy for you to say,your mentor isn't such and asshole,"I say.

"Dude,you need to calm down,why don't we head back?"Kin says.

"Okay,"I say.

I pick up Lanes and we head back to my place,since the robots are all gone.What we'll do next isn't going to be easy if we need the wepons of Pililoha.But anything that it takes to finish Chuck.Even being in the same room as Aron.(I'll explain who's Aron later in the next chapter and why Corey hates him so much.)
