Its's been a month since I've been out of the hospital. Horatio contenuies to fuss over me, much to my objections.
"I can feed myself," I laughed, trying to slip around Horatio to contenuie to cook the pancakes he he had started.
"I've got it," The red head stated, blocking me with his body, facing away from the pancakes.
I looked up at his blue eyes, "Please? Let me help, you have tooken care of me ever since I've gotton out of the hospital," I pleaded.
"Go sit down, panckaes will be done soon," Horatio smirked, turning around.
"Horatio!" I begged, I wrapped my arms around his waist. I loved these moments with him, I felt normal around him; I felt safe.
I heard Horatio chuckle, I smiled as i buried my face into his back, taking in his scent.
He turned to face me, and smiled down at me as I looked back up at him.
We stared at eachother like this for just a moment before our lips met. I put one hand on his chest, the other on his neck. Horatio put his hands on my sides and began to kiss more passioniltlly. After a few minutes, we pulled away.
"I love you," Horatio whispered, leaning his head on mine.
I closed my eyes, moving my head to his chest, "I love you, too."

After breakfast, Horatio had left to go to work. I needed to contact Ruby, to tell her what had happened. I hadn't seen her since she'd come over with Steve. Steve was still angry with me, for letting her get away.
I picked up my phone and began dialing. As the phone rang, I heard Ruby's ringtone right outside my door.
"BABY YOUR A FIRE WOR- " The phone sang until it was abrutly stoped. I began to laugh histerically as Ruby entered my apartment.
"I hate you," Ruby joked, motioning towards my phone that was still in my hand.
"I can't belive you still have that as your ringtone," I stated, amused.
"What? It's a good song?" Ruby defended.
"Why are you here?" I questioned.
"Why did you call me?" Ruby questioned back.
I sighed, "I was attacked by the Raven about a month ago, though I bet you know that," I stated.
"Yeah, Steve told me. I thought you killed her?"
"So did I. You know the strangest part? She had the chance to kill me. I was face planted on the floor, she had the chance to crack my skull, but she didn't," I said, thinking.
"Raven is... very cruel, you know that better than anyone. You tried to kill her, she's not going to let you get off easy. She's going to toy with you," Ruby warned, looking down.
"Will you help me?" I asked, making Ruby look up, "Will you help me kill the Raven?"
Ruby looked sympathetic, "I'm sorry, Alice, I can't," Ruby looked down again, my hopes fell also, "You declared war on her the moment you tried to reason with her, Your on your own," Ruby said, heading back towards the door.
"Why did you come over?" I asked, suddenly.
"I wanted to warn you. Don't get to atached to that cop. He's worth $6 grand," And with that, Ruby walked out, leaving me with a parnoid mind.
