CHAPTER 3

“So you’ve met Tiffany huh?” A shorter black haired girl came in the room with pixie cut jet black hair and more curves than Tiffany.

I smiled at her and her brown eyes twinkled as she smiled back, “I’m Jessica, nice to meet you.”

“Annabelle, but call me Anna.”

“Have you met the others?”

“No, I just got here. Are we all in the same year?”

“Yeah we are, I met the others around an hour ago.”

Two more girls came in the room talking and they stopped looking at me. Tiffany in the mean time had taken up the task of brushing her already perfectly smooth hair.

“Oh so you’re the fifth? I’m Madeline but everybody calls me Maddy.” The girl was medium tall with short sort of dirty blonde hair.

“Cool I’m Anna.” I smiled at her and switched my attention to the other girl next to her, she was pretty short and sort of dull blondish hair and looked like a twig, but a cute hazel eyed twig and she looked 12 instead of 15.

“My name is Brittney, good to meet you Anna.” She smiled happily and walked over to her bed.

Looking around I noticed the difference in all our personalities, Tiffany’s bed was decorated in all white light pink and perfectly organized in her perfumes and make up. Brittney’s was all light blue with slightly messy but looking like a kid had messed up the bed. On the other side was Maddy’s bright hot pink colors everywhere with everything in pink girlish colors and extremely messy. Last came Jessica’s, hers was violet and normal almost, she didn’t have Goth clothes or extremely girlish or hipsters. Instead she had nice clothes slightly messy with all different shades of violet.

Slowly I started taking things out of my suitcase. There were all types of clothes and I smiled having everything in a golden color.

“Hey guys I’m starving so can we go eat now?” I heard Brittney’s chirpy voice behind me and I smiled without being caught.

“Yes!” Our simultaneous response surprised Jessica and me but in a nice way.

We walked over to the Dining Chamber or as people called it the Diner it was beautiful, there were tons of small tables for 4 all around the room with huge dark red curtains. Along the back was a huge buffet, it looked so fancy.

I felt Brittney’s poke, “Anna why is everybody whispering and staring at you?” Slowly I turned to ask what Brittney was talking about but I noticed the eyes of basically everybody in the room on us, or well more specifically me. I stopped looking around when I saw Andy looking at me slightly apologetically.

“Oh my gosh there’s this girl who insulted the Rhinos today!”  I looked over my shoulder to see Maddy talking.

            “Who?”

“Hun everybody is still staring.” I look at Jessica confused and she raises an eyebrow asking a more blunt question, “Did you insult anybody today?”

I shook my head slowly, “Well I just insulted these really hot-“ the realization slapped me in the face, “oh shit.”

Jessica rolled her eyes and pushed the five towards a table to sit down. I stared at the floor the whole way trying to hide the blush raising to my cheeks. Sitting down I realized that I had no food and stood up again to get a sandwich which the other girls had already gone to get.

“Don’t bother, I got you chicken and mayo.”  I gave her a greatful smile and took the sandwich from her slowly munching on it.

“Hey I’m sure they’ll forget about it soon enough.” I raised my eyebrows at Brittney’s encouragement and Tiffany scoffed.

“Yeah right they’ll never forget about it.”

“Hey newbie!” I looked up to see a probably older blond girl walking up to our table followed by two red headed bimbos.

“Yeah I’m talking to you!” She walked straight into my face her eyes narrowed.

“Yes?” I raised my eyebrows expectantly and she fumed.

“Who the hell do you think you are to talk to the rhino boys like that?” I just looked at her.

“I think I’m Anna, you are?”

“Are you brain dead? If you ever talk like that to the boys you deal with ALL of us.”

Slowly I stood up, my earlier fear brushing off my shoulders, “Excuse me? I wasn’t the one to be an ass.”

People gasped but I didn’t hear them I just looked at the blond bimbo exploding, “You can be fucking sure that I will personally make your life hell here if you don’t watch that whore mouth of yours!”

Now my eyes narrowed and I took a step towards her, “I have three points to make, one: I’m not the whore here. Two: nobody will ever talk to me like that ever, no matter who they think they are. Three: this discussion is over.” I pushed her aside and walked away ignoring everything around me.

As I reached the dorm I realized I had just committed social suicide, but hell they deserved it. I sighed and kept walking until I found my room and laid down on the bed looking at the ceiling until I heard the door open and somebody entering.

The person sat beside me and lied down next to me on the bed making me scoot over.

“I don’t know what you did there or where you got the guts from but I can tell you that I have never seen anybody more courageous and strong. And right now you are my idol and the idol of all those people who have to live through being bullied by the Rhinos.” I felt her breathing next to me and I smiled.

“Thank you, for not telling me that I was crazy and now I will live through hell.” I felt the tears ready to come out but I tried to stop them.

“I didn’t tell you that because it’s the truth, you won’t live through hell, we will.” At that point I let the tears fall and smiled as warmth took over my body.

I knew at that exact moment that even through hell I had somebody I could always count on, Jessica.
