Azreal, from afar, was observing this. He saw the thieves, Jax, and Jax's friends. There were 15 thieves. Azreal tricked the thieves into thinking that Jax and his friends holds a treasure that costs a few hundred coins. He also informed the thieves that Jax and his friends would be hard to defeat, so they asked other thieves to help them, thus numbering them at 15.
Azreal did this for a reason. The reason was that he had a visit from the other Kings and he also had visits from the Queens, all asking the same question,"Should I be worried about anyone?" And thus he gave them all the same answer.
"I'll let you decide. Tomorrow at noon. Baker's View." Baker's View was in a remote area within the city, a place not many would go to. With this, they knew he was planning something, but they also knew that he wouldn't harm them, so they decided to go and take a look. As of right now, there was still 20 minutes until noon.
"You noticed?" Talien asked Jax and Helen.
"Yea."
Jax and his friends became aware of the thieves only just a minute ago. They only noticed them because the thieves grew impatient and started to move as a big group, in contrast from before when they were moving one by one. Jax and his group was heading Northwest, towards Baker's View, the place Azreal predicted they would go.
Joshua was the first to arrive on the building across from Azreal. Joshua has a kind heart, thus he greeted Azreal with a formal bow. Azreal only replied back with a nod.
"I thought you said to come here at noon."
"Early." Was the only response that he got. The atmosphere became a little awkward.
"I see you're not one to talk." Azreal only shrugged. Joshua went into thought, but he just couldn't think of what Azreal meant.
"Depends." Azreal said, noticing the confusion on Joshua's face.
"On what?"Azreal turned to look at him, then turned to look back at Jax and his friends. Joshua, knowing what he meant, didn't infer further.
On the building next to Joshua, Rebecca arrived, greeting Joshua and Azreal with a curtsy. Joshua greeted back with a bow, while Azreal just nodded. Although this was rude, they didn't mind it. Soon after, the twins, Eliza and Elizabeth arrived and greeted the others. Just as noon arrived, Victoria arrived.
"Sorry i'm late." She said while smiling.
"No, you made it just in time." With this, Jax and his friends finally made it to Baker's View, but were cut off by the thieves, with 7 in front and 8 behind. Jax and his friends got into formation, with Jax at the back, Helen at the front, and Talien in the middle. Azreal and his group kept watching, other than Rebecca worrying for them, there was no change in emotions.
"Hand over the treasure." One of the thieves said, holding out his hand.
"What treasure?" Jax asked, genuinely confused.
"Don't play dumb, I know you have it!" The thief yelled, growing more impatient by the second.
"I really don't know what you're talking about."
"Fine, guess we'll have to search your dead body."
"Been awhile since we last fought shoulder to shoulder, huh?"
"Kill them!" The leader looked at Helen. "Actually, leave the girl alive." He said as he licked his lips. The thieves started laughing and eyeing her, knowing why the leader wanted the girl alive. Then they all rushed at the small group of three.
Helen, knowing full well what they were going to do to her, aimed at the leader. Knocked an arrow, and released it. The arrow flew towards the thief's heart, but as experienced as he was, deflected the arrow.
