    Have you ever thought how robots really operate? Well, I can definitely tell you how it came to be because I am one. About a billion years ago, the government thought that we should "change" our way of living. So they decided to experiment on humans to see if we could become genetically smarter, like robots, and that's exactly what they did. Of course, after six years of trials it didn't work, they were doing something wrong, something that didn't complete the transformation. After about a year, the adroits finally came up with a serum to complete trials. They decided to call it "The Cure" It began to work, millions and millions of humans decided to come and try it. It was a better life for us, there was no wars, no poverty, no terrorists, etc. "Project Valerie" it was called. I was programed about seventeen years ago. They called me in and they told me that my new life started today. I was really scared. They put me in a big room full of gas and they put me down. It was the worst pain I've ever felt in my life. The gas was burning me from the inside out. It's breaking apart my heart and soul. I could no longer feel anything. I suddenly didn't feel angry about them killing me, I didn't feel sad that I had been made into a machine, and I was never happy about anything ever again, but overall, it's cool being a robot. You are really smart, almost a genius smart, and you get to sleep standing up. (I had never been able to do that when I was a human!) But I've never felt any real emotions, ever. I never felt the joy of a sunny day in the water at the beach, I've never been sad, and I've never felt-wait, well, I don't remember the word exactly, they had the word erased from my brain when they put me in my new body. But, to keep us busy, we have a schedule, 1. Wake up and have a pleasant day, 2. Finish your testing ON time, 3. Make sure to get oiled at 0100 hours, 4. Go to sleep at 0200 hours. Repeat. It was a very simple, but boring schedule that I would have to repeat every day for the rest of my life.
