After Trevor left, I called my friend, Lucy, back. She works at the fishery, and I keep in touch with her mainly so I can hear about how my parents are doing. I miss them so much, but being away from them is what they want.

"Briella! You have to get over here right away!"

"Lucy, I told you to call me Brie. I prefer it now."

"Great, Brie, but listen! I told your parents you and Tyler broke up, and they said that if its over for good you can come home! Isn't that exciting!"

"OMG Lucy, for real!? That is amazing! I only wish I had a car... I could borrow a boat, I''m on the other side of the Alamo Sea."

"Or you could... call a cab like a normal person?"

"Well yeah..."

"What has gotten into you! Are you crazy?"

"I'm not crazy. The guy I'm living with kinda is. But, I kinda like it. I wouldn't say this with him around, but I think he is really charming."

"He sounds like a mess! Now get your butt over here!"

"Okay, okay! But I don't know if I can stay all day, I don't want to worry Trevor."

"Okay, I'll see you soon. Bye Brie."

I hung up, and then called for a cab. When it arrived, I told the driver my address, and we drove. I got more and more nervous as we approached the road leading to the fishery.

"I'll get out here." I smiled. I paid the driver, and then walked towards the main store.

My parents were waiting outside with Lucy. As I saw them, Lucy yelled, "Briella's home!"

My parents walked faster towards me, so I quickened my pace.

I hugged my parents.

"Welcome home, Briella." My dad said.

"Dad, call me Brie."

"I'm not calling you anything that scoundrel called you. Now come on inside and change your clothes..."

"Mr. M, she just got home. Tell us what you've been up to!" Lucy smiled.

"I've been living in Sandy Shore's."

"Oh? By yourself?" My mother gasped.

"No no no, with a friend of mine."

"It isn't another biker, is it?"

"No, dad. Matter of fact, he hates bikers more than you do."

"That isn't possible. But I'd like to meet this fella."

"I'm sure he would like to meet you too! You guys are fine with me living with him?"

"You are an adult." My mom smiled nervously. "And we are so glad you made the adult decision to end things with that punk."

"Me too, I missed you guys. I'm sorry for choosing him over you. That was the stupidest thing I had ever done in my life."

My mom spoke, "Now you know not to choose a boy over your family. Now come inside, there is someone we want you to meet. Don't mention to him that you are living with a man, dear. Peter would make a good husband."

"Mom!" I groaned.

I agreed to meet him, but I only stayed a little longer. I listened to my parents talk about the shop and the fish, but they didn't want to know anything I was up to when I was gone. And it was better that way. Lucy gave me a ride back to the trailer. She came in with me

"Thank you, Luce. I wouldn't have made up with my parents unless you were telling them my business."

"No problem. And by the way, I won't say a thing about you and Trevor sleeping together."

"Shut up! Anyway, thanks for the ride." My phone started to ring. "It's T. Bye Lucy."

"Bye, Briella... I mean Brie."

She left, and I answered the phone.

"Hey, Trevor."

"Hey. Everything okay?"

"Everything is great! I made up with my parents!"

"That is really great, Brie! Did you tell them about me?"

"A little. They want to meet you. I mean, if you want to meet them. I told them we could any time, really."

"I would like that. But I don't think I will be coming home tomorrow. Probably two days."

"Oh. Okay Trevor. Well, I hope everything is okay." I heard him start breathing harder and gasp slightly. "Uh, what are you doing?"

"Nothing! I'll talk to you tomorrow. Night!" He hung up. I'm almost 100 percent sure he was jacking off. At least I think he was jacking himself off. As I turned around to go to Trevor's room to sleep, a girl was standing in the door way.

"What the fuck are you?" She asked. She was chewing gum obnoxiously.

"Excuse me, it is who are you? And if anyone is asking that it should be me. I live here."

"Oh really?" She smirked. "I lived here first."

"Look, I'm too tired to play this game. Just leave and there won't be any problems."

"You don't know who I am? Trev didn't tell you about me?"

I shook my head no.

She got angry. "That was a mistake." As she walked back into Trevor's room, I realized the note was on the counter. Things started to add up. And I think I just met Athena.
