13 // Formality

Kate had Derek Hale hung up like some rabid animal. She had sent both Ella and Allison a simple, 'We need to talk' text. Here they were, standing before Derek Hale in complete wolf out mode.

Derek's cheeks were hairy, and his eyes were a bright blue, impossible to miss.  The twins stared at Derek while Kate had sinister motives behind this. The sister's watched as Kate's slim fingers turned some knobs, showing she was electrocuting Derek.

"What are you doing to him? Is that gonna kill him?" Allison asked.

Ella saw the sadistic smirk on Kate. ''C'mon girls. Don't get all ethical on me now.''

Allison stared at Derek, her eyes glossy. ''What is he?"

''Shape shifter, lycan. Werewolf,'' Kate laughed. ''To me he's just another dumb animal.''

Kate turned the volts up more, making Derek yell out in pain.

''Stop! You're hurting him!" Ella cried, but she was ignored as Kate told Allison to come closer, and her sister did.

Kate lifted Derek's lip up, showing Allison his teeth. ''See these right here? These are canines, also known as fangs. Made for the tearing and rending of flesh. Not something you'd find on those cute little leaf-eating herbivores, is it?"

Ella's eyes hardened. ''This is a joke to you?"

''Sweethearts, there are werewolves running around in the world. One attacked you Ella, and don't think I don't know about you doing your own little research. Everything's a joke to me. How else do you think I stay sane?''

Kate didn't know that Ella knew everything before hand, same with Allison. Ella couldn't tell her sister what she knew, about Scott being a werewolf because that would crush Allison. But she was more scared on how Allison would react.

''So, it was him at the high school and all the other animal attacks?" Ella questioned, playing along.

Kate grabbed both sisters leading them out. ''There's actually three of them,'' She explained. ''Another younger one like him called the beta, and then there's the Alpha. Alpha's the pack leader. Bigger, stronger, nastier. Those are the real ugly mother-''

The sister's aunt had closed the door, and looked at them both.

''When were they gonna tell us?" Allison questioned, her arms crossed over her.

Kate drew in a sharp breath. ''They still don't know if they were going to tell you two,''

Ella had to admit, that had hurt her. Her own parents would keep something like that away from her and her sister, and if Ella didn't know anything, it would make them in danger.

''Why?" Ella asked, her curiosity getting the better of her.
