Ella pulled up to Lydia's house to drop her friend off, but nothing was being said. Ella stopped the car and put her head in her hands, trying to give some sort of explanation to Lydia. It was quiet for a moment because she didn't know what to say.

Finally, Ella turned to her friend, still trying to find the right things to say. ''I need you to promise that you won't say anything to anything about what just happened.''

''I promise to not say anything about what just happened if you can tell me what the hell just happened.'' Lydia asked, her eyes desperate.

''It's kind of complicated,'' Ella started.

Lydia scoffed at Ella, ''Well, how about you start with why was Derek there? Or where Jackson went, or what is wrong with Erica?"

When Ella hesitated, Lydia snapped at her. ''Do you need a moment to come up with a plausible lie?"

"Part of the reason why I'm asking is because of Scott and Allison, along with Stiles and I. So, it's better if you just keep what you know to yourself.'' Ella explained.

''Fine.'' Lydia said. ''I'll keep what I know about you and your boyfriend, plus your sister and hers, which is nothing, to myself.'' She reached for the door handle, trying to leave Ella's car.

Ella's hand reached out and grabbed Lydia, ''Hey, Stiles isn't my boyfriend, and Scott's not just a boyfriend to Allison. You get that right?"

''Let me go.'' Lydia demanded at Ella.

''Just for one second, please. Try and remember,''

''Remember what?" Lydia shrieked.

''Remember what it feels like. All of those times in school when you see him standing down the hall and you cannot breathe, until you're with him. Or, those times in class when you can't stop looking at the clock because you know he's standing right out there waiting for you. Stiles isn't my boyfriend but I get these certain feelings for him, and that's never happened before. Don't you remember what that's like?" Ella asked, her heart hurting.

Lydia thought for a moment before answering. ''No.''

''What do you mean, 'no'? You've had boyfriends.''

"None like that.'' With that, Lydia opened Ella's car door and left.

The school was becoming even more of a living hell then usual. Gerald has completely taken over, and he even installed cameras at every hallway possible inside the school. Even though Ella and Allison didn't make up yet, she could tell Allison was still with Gerald.
