Ruin Me

Plan

I woke up in my cell and rubbed my eyes. The chains on my wrists jingled. I rubbed my wrists, they were sore being in the cuffs for a long time. I looked through the cell bars and saw the German boy. Eren Jaeger, his head slunk down with his shoulders as he slept. His hair fell onto the front of his face and his eyebrows were relaxed. He looked like a little boy sleeping there. 

I sat up in my bed, the chains make more noise and Eren's eyes flutter open. He yawns and rubs his eyes and then those emerald eyes meet my gaze. He smiles. That was where the trouble started, the smile. That damn smile.

I just looked at him as he streached and stood up. He went to the table across from me on the outside of the cell and got some water. He handed me some through the bars. We just sat there. It was for once peaceful.

"Will I get out of here?" I said

"I don't know." He looked down

I just looked at him, does he know something?

"Look, Annie, I uh, well, they think I am a trader and I might go to jail, I could die. I really don't know."

My eyes widen, they think he is against humanity? This could be good, I can carry out my plan and bring him home, with Reiner and Bertolt. I need a plan.

"I can help you escape." I say

His eyes shimmer as they dart to mine.

"How? Do you think this is necessary?"

"Well, we can make a plan to escape to the outside the walls somehow, it is very possible. I do think it is necessary. We can get out of the walls and prove that we are with humanity." Ugh stupid, what am I saying?

"Okay, okay, yeah. When we are outside the walls we can find the Beast Titan that Levi talked about, it might be a shifter of another breed."

Oh Eren. He trusts me and I am just going to screw it up. 

"We can leave at night." I nod at Eren

I don't know how this will work, this is a crazy plan, but I have to.

I reach for Eren's hand through the bars. I grab his hand in mine. He looks at me, then at my hand on his. I squeeze it. He sits there on the bench and stares off, we don't let go for a while. I am sorry Eren Jaeger, I am betraying you. I am selfish, and a coward. You are too good for me, but I can't help it. Maybe the dark side is for Eren, maybe he will understand and get it. Maybe. He lets go of my hand and looks at me.

"I have to go, I'll come back."

He turns around and head up the stone stairs and leaves me to my own thoughts. What just happened?
